Experience the one-of-a-kind opportunity to reside in a houseboat on the east side of Amsterdam's Amstel River. This private dwelling spans 46 square meters and boasts breathtaking views of the river, especially on sunny days. Along the boulevard, numerous delightful restaurants and pubs await. The closest grocery store is an 8-minute walk away, and the Metro station can be reached in just 5 minutes. Additionally, a train station is within a 12-minute walk from the houseboat.
I've been a resident of Amsterdam for around 15 years now and the city never ceases to amaze me. It's like a second home to me and my family. Our houseboat is situated on the Amstel River, and we reside there with our half-poodle and half-shih tzu dog named Bella, my partner, and our 9-year-old daughter. We are a friendly and hospitable family, always enthusiastic to meet new individuals. Our houseboat provides an exceptional living experience, and we are thrilled to share it with you.
The neighborhood is bustling with activity, with restaurants lining the Weesperzijde and easy access to public transportation and the city center. There are plenty of water-based activities to enjoy, such as rowing, kayaking, swimming, and paddle boarding. For those looking for a charming spot to dine or grab a drink, we recommend checking out the restaurants along the boulevard. You'll be treated to a stunning view of the Amstel River, and you'll find a variety of other dining options nearby.
