A wonderfully amazing location, always welcoming and friendly staff, we simply loved loved loved staying in one of the apartments - the extra space was excellent and the kitchen which includes a washer/dryer sealed the deal on this phenomenal stay. Having breakfast included as well as parking makes the Hotel Cruzeiro among the best that Terceira has to offer!

My partner and I loved our room, it was spacious clean and everything as expected. The hotel itself is well located and walkable to the water, beaches, restaurants and attractions in the downtown area. The front desk staff was very friendly, however the housekeepers congregated outside our room and were very loud. My partner and I work remotely, and needed to request they be quieter as they were sitting right outside our door. The main reason we wanted to stay here were the spa facilities (pool, steam room and sauna). The spa wasn't open and had to request it be opened after the regular hours, then wait for the rooms to be heated up. We stayed an extra night to be able to use the spa again on the morning of our checkout, and once again they were not available, which was disappointing. However, it should be noted the free morning breakfast was great as was the lobby bar and bartender (I can't remember his name, but he was very friendly and easy to talk with).
