It was situated in a beautiful old peaceful small village, surrounded by nature. The house itself had all the the facilities. My mum and dad absolutely loved it and thought it was stunning (house, village and surroundings). They left us a bottle of wine and some delicious local products (meat, cheese, honey). It was a great experience.

Susana is a great host, the room is very comfortable, great to have a basic kitchen, television and internet were both better quality than expected, nice common area, many useful books. Susana and Rui are very knowledgeable about the area and happy to share information. Castro Verde is a delightful town with many things to do and see, next trip we'll plan 2 days or more for the region.

We highly recommend this lovely and welcoming oasis of tranquillity, quality and care Sophia has renovated the house beautifully with no regard to expense. The rood top terrace ( with excellent loungers and a wonderful view) the pool and the dining room are excellent. Because we are biking Sophia arranged a nice home cooked dinner for us and went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything worked well for us
