Porto Covo is an eco-friendly hotel in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park . It has an outdoor pool with a poolside bar and a hydromassage, and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. Great hotel and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved having a kitchenette in the room. The breakfast was amazing.
Featuring a garden, BBQ area, terrace and free WiFi, Apartamento Rosa is located in Porto Covo, a 2-minute walk from Gaivota Beach and 200 yards from Banho Beach. The guesthouse has family rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Staff very friendly. Balcony with seaside view
Located in Porto Covo, near Bay of Porto Covo Beach, Buizinhos Beach and Gaivota Beach, Casa de Porto Covo Guest House features free WiFi. Pessegueiro Island is 1.2 miles from the family stay. Can only recommend! Great location- close to beatiful beaches and sunset views. Clean and very comfortable accomodation with all supplies you might need. Very nice and caring host who kindly offered free upgrade. Hopefully will come back! Thank you!!
Monte do Cerro is located 2.5 mi from Porto Covo and from Pessegueiro Island, in the Alentejo's Coast, and offers a terrace. This place is a real heaven, lost in the countryside, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. I highly recommand ! Everything is perfect
Providing lake views and free WiFi, Apartamentos Campos 2 provides accommodations conveniently set in Porto Covo, within a short distance of Praia do Espingardeiro, Banho Beach and Gaivota Beach. The apartment was very very big and it was in a good location. As we were staying just the night we ended up not being able to enjoy all things of the apartment (like the living room/tv, etc).
Lovely coastal village very clean and typical of the region. Nice walk down to the ocean, great views. Good selection of restaurents and a good Italian Pizza place. Delightful cafe/ coffee shop. A good Icream parlour.
Small town, quiet at night where we stayed, although we were there outside of peak season - I imagine it may be much different in summer when people are there for the beaches. The ability to walk along the coastline (this is near the beginning of the Rota Vicentina) was wonderful as was the scenery/ambiance above the town beach in the evening at sunset.
We visited in March - superb weather and very quiet at this time of year. There were a few restaurants open on the main pedestrian street. Beautiful cliff top views (sunsets). No large beaches and most accessable only via stairs. A sleepy town that would probably be quite crowded in summer. Easy to walk throughout the village.
I was on a motorcycle trip. Late Feb. arrived mid evening. found one restaurant/ bar open about ten minutes walk from Hotel. Great meal, nice little town. Most properties closed because of the season. Spectacular coastline
Porto Covo was lovely... good restaurants, friendly people, amazing beaches for walking, sitting or surfing! Sad that property investors pulled out and left vacant half built buildings, leaving holes in the community. The community people were friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Great town!!
Lovely tiny village facing the Ocean with wonderful beaches and shores close at reach; quiet but not isolated from the surroundings, gets cheerfully crowded during the Festival Musicas do Mundo. A must see.
The place is super well located with the beach and main shopping street just a few minutes away walking. Marina, the host, is possibly the most incredible host I have ever met. She makes you feel at home right away, gives you all the good tips and welcomes you with open arms. It was my first time staying overnight in Porto Covo and from now on I will definitely stay here everytime I come back! Moreover, the facilities are great, everything is super clean and the other staff is very friendly :-)
Perfect place to start hiking the Fisherman's trail. The hotel was very kind and let us leave our car there while we hiked down the coast. We returned during the coronavirus and the staff bent over backwards for us even though everyone was staying home and the hotel was closing down. They left a lovely breakfast on the table for the next morning and the key in the door. Thank you so much for giving us a place to stay at the end of our hike during such a difficult time!!
This is a very beautiful house that is well equipped, has nice furniture and is tastefully decorated. The garden faces the ocean and has chairs where it is nice to sit at sunset. It is quiet since it is one of the first houses of the village. It is easy to walk to the many beaches or to the restaurants in Porto Covo. We only used the car to go do hiking further away.
The property was Comfortable and cozy in a quiet neighbourhood Well equipped bathroom Attractive view to the garden and pool Close to beaches in the area. I could hear the waves in the distance. It was soothing at night.
Our room was very clean and nice with a view to Main Street. It’s located in one of the main streets of Porto Covo and really close the beaches and the Port. The bathroom was clean and had a lot of space.
Superb setting among fields of cattle. Very comfortable and nicely fitted out purpose built extension to existing Portuguese farm house. Near fabulous beaches. Porto Covo close by with good restaurants.
Spacious, spotless and well equipped accommodation in the centre of Porto Covo. The owner lit the fire when we arrived and we had a very pleasant and cosy evening. Easily a straight 10 rating.
Amazing location and breakfast, Nuno is very friendly and helpful and is a local from Porto Covo! Me and my friend loved everything. The view from the balcony is amazing.
Very nice located place to stay, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The service (including the owners) was exelent! I will definately be back soon. Thank you
Very friendly host. Easy to communicate and everything is clean. Easy location in Porto Covo. Nice place on the terrace and space to hang clothes on the line.

This place is a real heaven, lost in the countryside, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. I highly recommand ! Everything is perfect
Being in nature and close to the beaches. Riding safe and lovely horses. Cannot wait to return. Lovely food at the Island Restaurant.
Heat, kitchen, tv, drying rack, everything we needed for a 1-night stay while hiking.
The view! Sound of waves! Breakfast!
