Facing the beachfront, Porto Covo Praia Hotel & SPA offers 4-star accommodations in Porto Covo and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and shared lounge. Brand new hotel, you can literally smell it. There was an incident at the breakfast, but it was addressed to the director, and sure enough, the next morning they made sure it was properly corrected . That for us was a very positive sign Very friendly staff. Location is perfect .
Ahoy Porto Covo Hostel is located in Porto Covo, 328 feet from the beach and offers a budget accommodations. Free WiFi access is available. The host is very chill and fun to talk with. He gave us, as many others before us, great advice to the Fishermen's trail. The hostel itself has everything you need - multiple bathrooms, kitchen (no fish frying allowed) and a large terrace on the 1st floor, ideal for breakfast and preparing for a trip. The whole place is very cozy, and I can easily imagine staying there for more than 1 night.
Porto Covo is an eco-friendly hotel in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park . It has an outdoor pool with a poolside bar and a hydromassage, and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. arrived very tired from my hike of the fisherman's trail and was glad to be welcomed by a friendly young man from Brazil at the reception. the apartment was big and had a garden terrace with pool. I was also glad I could get something to eat at the bar upstairs.

Great location, one minute walk to the beach and the town center. Supermarket, butcher and restaurants/stores all nearby. The apartment is spacious e very well equipped with a great outside communal area with several barbecues available.
O Lugar is a guest house with six suites located in the center of the fishing village of Porto Côvo. The property was lovely - fresh, clean and inviting. Anna and Pedro were very welcoming and helpful. A wonderful breakfast in such a relaxed atmosphere was a great start to our day. Thank you so much ! Porto Covo is a beautiful village with great walks along the coast and beautiful beaches.
With a garden , Parque de Campismo da Ilha do Pessegueiro is located 2.5 mi from Porto Covo. The property features a games room and a restaurant and bar on site in the summer. Staff was great. Rooms are big and have all necessary amenities for smaller scale cooking. The locarion is in a quiet area and close to the beaches. Great place for a summer vacation, if one is not looking at spending too much.
Sweet town, but very touristy feeling. Tour buses dropping people in, and the restaurants felt geared for tourists too. (though check out the pizza place in the main street, excellent). Great view from the coastline but not a swimmable beach. Really central to some great day trips, but I think there are better towns in the area for a longer stay. Check out the horseriding nearby, excellent.
Charming beach town with a bohemian vibe. We ate at Lamela's which was delicious and has a beautiful view of the bay from the seating on the back deck. Lovely to stroll around the center of this small town during the day and night. Highly recommend!
There are so many beach towns to choose from in Portugal. Porto Covo is very laid back with a few good restaurants (Ze Inacio, Lamales), an open air food market, good grocery store, a beautiful beach side hiking trail and incredible beaches. We wanted somewhere we could really relax, where they wasn't actually a ton to do other than walk and lounge on the beach. Porto Covo is a little hidden gem and there were not a ton of Americans there which we liked (being American ourselves!). Late June is a good time to go. We heard July & August are even busier.
Lovely coastal village very clean and typical of the region. Nice walk down to the ocean, great views. Good selection of restaurents and a good Italian Pizza place. Delightful cafe/ coffee shop. A good Icream parlour.
Small town, quiet at night where we stayed, although we were there outside of peak season - I imagine it may be much different in summer when people are there for the beaches. The ability to walk along the coastline (this is near the beginning of the Rota Vicentina) was wonderful as was the scenery/ambiance above the town beach in the evening at sunset.
We visited in March - superb weather and very quiet at this time of year. There were a few restaurants open on the main pedestrian street. Beautiful cliff top views (sunsets). No large beaches and most accessable only via stairs. A sleepy town that would probably be quite crowded in summer. Easy to walk throughout the village.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here in Porto Covo. The breakfast was incredible, mostly organic, and the rooms are really comfortable and quiet. Perfect base to explore some of the Rota Vicentina and the nature parks nearby. Andre helped arrange a yoga class on their patio before breakfast which was a great way to start the day. Parking was easy and there are a number of great restaurants in town (make sure to show up early to put your name in at Ze Ignacio!). Definitely recommend!
I really liked everything: Rodrigo was very attentive, the apartment is on a great location, fantastic view from the balcony, very clean, comfortable, within walking distance and driving to a plethora of wonderful beaches. Plenty of restaurants in the lovely town of Porto Covo… I highly recommend this place… I will be back.
Beautiful stylish room and guesthouse (loved the plants decoration). Such a cozy and affordable place, close to the village of Porto Côvo. Good options for breakfast (kindly delivered very morning). Very clean and bright room. Staff were always very kind, helpful and welcoming.
Wonderful staff, healthy and varied breakfast, amazing location, and good vibe all round. Brand new accommodation and concept, very cool and can recommend to anyone. Can't wait to come back!
The landlady was very friendly. The room was large comfortable and warm with a heater. Separate bathroom. Kitchen well equipped and nice outdoor space at the back to relax.
Amazing location and breakfast, Nuno is very friendly and helpful and is a local from Porto Covo! Me and my friend loved everything. The view from the balcony is amazing.
