Located in Odeceixe, Casa Dorita offers beachfront accommodations a few steps from Odeceixe Beach and has facilities like a restaurant and a bar. Our stay was brief, but the staff went above and beyond to help us with transportation. Also the location is beautiful!
Located in Odeceixe, 11 miles from Aljezur Castle and 19 miles from Sardao Cape, Casa Luar provides accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and garden views. A comfortable and quiet room with a lovely view. Very friendly and helpful owners and close to a very nice town centre
Featuring free WiFi, a year-round outdoor pool and a terrace, Monte do Cardal offers accommodations in Odeceixe. Free private parking is available on site. Had a beautiful stay at this property. very peaceful surrounded my farm land. the pool was perfect for refreshing dip after my long day of hiking. the rooms are very comfortable with nice patios to watch sunset. And they provide the most delicious home cooked breakfast! wish I had stayed another night for the breakfast:) Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!
Located in Odeceixe, 11 miles from Aljezur Castle, Sol Mar provides accommodations with a bar, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The host was very warm and welcoming. The room had a beautiful private, spacious terrace. Breakfast was excellent, continental with plenty of fresh fruit, extra helpings of any food on offer as required. I’m only sorry we didn’t book for a longer stay
Casas Do Moinho is ideally located in a natural park, close to several beaches. It offers 5-star accommodations with free WiFi and includes an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views. The food was absolutely incredible. The courtyard by the pool was charming and the nearby hiking is wonderful.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.
Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.
Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
Odeceixe is a lovely small village on the Atlatntic sea coast, on the border between Algarve and Alentejo, in good reach to beautiful spots of both coasts and also the woods/nature parks in the east. There are small but quite well equipped food shops and other, and quite a number of bars and restaurants with diverse offer. Pharmacy, ATM, bus stop also nicely centrally located. There is no need to go to supermarkets in Rogil or San Teutonio, 15 km. Also well connected to Lagos via the Express bus routes, and LIsboa. Ideal stop for hikers on the Rota Vicentina. Large beach with all facilities 5 km from town, good road and some restos there. Popular idyllic small promenade, nicely arranged in marble, and mirador, nudist beach connected to main beach by caves, and large parking for campers. Also camping and bathing on the river Seixe possible, if the Atlantic should be too stormy. For a shorter stay you would need no car. Smaller bays and many nice places around.
Odeceixe is a charming cozy small village, with relaxed atmosphere. There are amazing beaches nearby. There are not too many restaurants in the village and finding a table can be a challenge during the summer season. Booking in advance is strongly recommended.
very nice little town, quiet and friendly with nice and good restaurants. Unfortunately the local bakery has closed (next one is in Rogil). The beach is wonderfull and perfect for families and surfers. From the town you can make trips to other places/beaches at the coast. To Sagres it is only 1h drive.
The apartment is on the top floor of the house, with a private door, bathroom, small kitchen, two bedrooms and two balconies with beautiful views over Odeceixe. The woman that runs the hotel is warm, loquacious and welcoming - she has run the hotel for over 40 years and it is decorated with her craft work. The breakfast included her homemade cake and plum jam, alongside hot bread, cheese and ham. It was delicious, and she implored us to “Eat, eat!” as much as we could! The price, too, was incredibly reasonable for 4 of us.
The self check-in was a bit weird but comfortable solution so I can't say anything about the host(s). The room was better than expected, with a small balcony, free coffee, snacks and juice. The location is great, very close to all the bus stops of the town, restaurants and shops are very close. I returned to Odeceixe in some days and was no question to book another night at this place.
Super cosy & well located in a cute village. Our room was like a mini apartment, wood floor & well decorated, we felt like home. You can have breakfast in the deli downstairs that belongs to the guesthouse (very good & made with love ;))) The owners are very welcoming and gave us good tips for restaurants & bars & activities around
Nice and quiet area, overlooking fields and just 3,5 km from the beach. You can walk ir take the little beach train (in tge summer inly) that has a stop just 2-3min away by foot. Nice walk to the center of the village - great views. The walk back makes for a good exercise up the hill 😉
Check-in was very easy and flexible. The house is clean and there is all you need. I definitely recommend it. Communication with Paula was also easy and we could have reached her, if we had any questions. Odeceixe has a beautiful beach and the coast is not that crowded.
Super helpful family runs this small, intimate hotel. It is nicely situated at the edge of town for hikers on the fisherman’s trail. The rooms are small but functional and exceptionally clean. Beds are firm. This was my best night sleep of the trip.
Loved the quiet location, close enough to the beach, beautiful accommodation arrangement, comfortable stay, as winter time heating was on, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts. We were very pleased and could have stayed more if possible. Recommend !
We weren’t sure what to expect but when we showed up we were so happy! It’s charming and everyone so friendly & helpful! It was our favorite breakfast in Portugal!!
The location was amazing and centrally located, with cafes and restaurants all walking distances, as well as fuft shops.
central location in the little town. our room had a beautiful balcony with a nice view. and the owner was very nice
best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel, staff was lovely through out, gorgeous property, love this town
The village and the beaches nearby
