Located in the heart of Odeceixe, 2.5 mi from the beach, Residencia do Parque offers rooms with a private bathroom. Everything was simply amazing, a great value for money and good attention on the details. Fast check-in (even no need to do it), you just take the keys at the main entrance and go to your room. The room comes with private bathroom fully equipped with all necessary things, clean and very comfortable room in general. You can even find a coffee machine with free coffee, crackers and juice in the fridge. Wonderful!!! Less than one min walking distance and you find many good options for dinner… inside our private bathroom we even had a bidet!!! Thanks to the staff for the amazing stay, even if for just one night…definitely above our expectations!!! :))
Located in Odeceixe, within 1.5 miles of Odeceixe Beach and 1.7 miles of Praia das Adegas, Bohemian Antique Guesthouse provides accommodations with free WiFi throughout the property. This guesthouse is such a treat. Fabulous decor, location and atmosphere and even the business cards are terribly cute. Miguel the owner is very helpful and informative and quick to reply
Located in Odeceixe, 1.5 miles from Odeceixe Beach and 1.6 miles from Praia das Adegas, Casa Luar provides accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and garden views. Excellent location for those coming from the Fishermans Way. Nearby tavern was great for dinner. Large bathroom, excellent breakfast included eggs, fresh baked goods, yogurt, etc. Reception was very helpful.
Casas Do Moinho is ideally located in a natural park, close to several beaches. It offers 5-star accommodations with free WiFi and includes an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views. Breakfast is a real treat, so many fresh ingredients and local produce, couldn’t be faulted.
Offering a tranquil location in the countryside and an outdoor swimming pool, Monte Joao Roupeiro - Turismo Rural is located 1.6 mi from Odeceixe. One of the most beautiful places in the region. Everything is super clean and beautifully decorated. Nothing seems to be out of place. The room and bathroom have a good size and each one has a door that opens to the garden/pool. In the morning you wake up with the birds chirping. Breakfast is varied and tasty. The staff is always willing to please you and help you in everything you need. A perfect stay for a family trip or a getaway weekend.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.
Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.
Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
Odeceixe is a lovely small village on the Atlatntic sea coast, on the border between Algarve and Alentejo, in good reach to beautiful spots of both coasts and also the woods/nature parks in the east. There are small but quite well equipped food shops and other, and quite a number of bars and restaurants with diverse offer. Pharmacy, ATM, bus stop also nicely centrally located. There is no need to go to supermarkets in Rogil or San Teutonio, 15 km. Also well connected to Lagos via the Express bus routes, and LIsboa. Ideal stop for hikers on the Rota Vicentina. Large beach with all facilities 5 km from town, good road and some restos there. Popular idyllic small promenade, nicely arranged in marble, and mirador, nudist beach connected to main beach by caves, and large parking for campers. Also camping and bathing on the river Seixe possible, if the Atlantic should be too stormy. For a shorter stay you would need no car. Smaller bays and many nice places around.
Odeceixe is a charming cozy small village, with relaxed atmosphere. There are amazing beaches nearby. There are not too many restaurants in the village and finding a table can be a challenge during the summer season. Booking in advance is strongly recommended.
very nice little town, quiet and friendly with nice and good restaurants. Unfortunately the local bakery has closed (next one is in Rogil). The beach is wonderfull and perfect for families and surfers. From the town you can make trips to other places/beaches at the coast. To Sagres it is only 1h drive.
The apartment is on the top floor of the house, with a private door, bathroom, small kitchen, two bedrooms and two balconies with beautiful views over Odeceixe. The woman that runs the hotel is warm, loquacious and welcoming - she has run the hotel for over 40 years and it is decorated with her craft work. The breakfast included her homemade cake and plum jam, alongside hot bread, cheese and ham. It was delicious, and she implored us to “Eat, eat!” as much as we could! The price, too, was incredibly reasonable for 4 of us.
It’s a brilliant place by all means. Me and my partner were staying there for three days in July and we never forget these days and this place. We were completely discouraged by the Vitor’s charisma and the level of hospitality he provided to. The greatest advantage of this place is the host and his attitude to his place. It’s a clean, comfortable, incredibly eco-friendly farm on the edge of Europe. If you are ready to open your heart to Portugal and the Portuguese this place is the right choice for you. Obrigado Vitor!
We had been looking for accommodation in Odeceixe but this was far better for us - out in the country in lovely relaxing surroundings but just ten minutes drive from town. The bed was extremely comfortable, we had a large bathroom with a big walk in shower and the blackout curtains were very efficient. finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. I celebrated my birthday during the stay and was touched to receive a cake with breakfast
We were on the Rota Vicentina and it was great to stay out here even though it was outside the village. Number 7 had a nice side view of the beach and ocean. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the supper at the restaurant and the sunset. The included breakfast with a view was better then expected - eggs, fresh, warm croissants, bread, cheese, ham, fruit, oj, and coffee or tea. Also really appreciated the heater and warm blankets.
Beautiful room with a balcony. Very nice view of the valley. Nicely located in the town. Central. I loved having a balcony, just nice to sit and look at the view. Receptionist was very helpful in telling me where to pick up the bus for the next leg of the journey. I liked this room a lot. Had a great dinner in this also
Super helpful family runs this small, intimate hotel. It is nicely situated at the edge of town for hikers on the fisherman’s trail. The rooms are small but functional and exceptionally clean. Beds are firm. This was my best night sleep of the trip.
Near the centre in a very quiet village 4k from beach. Substantial breakfast. Very friendly, helpful owner. Nice view of green fields and the sea in the distance. Good seafood available in the village.
This is ana amzing village and beach and the hostel is just 2 minutes away! The romos are spotless as are the bathrooms and the common áreas are really spacious and inviting. A lovely find!
The place is beautiful, located in the small square of Odeceixe. Room is cosy and really well furnished. The small town is also lovely. We had a great time
Victor was an excellent host who went beyond what was necessary to be helpful and welcoming. The house is private and spacious and the town charming.
Breakfast was great. Good location near Odeceixe beach, cliff walks, restaurants in Odeceixe. Good tennis court and pool. Friendly cats.
Great location(village, beach, house), original concept “saving the old village “
Clean spot right I town with parking nearby
Location and access to beach and village
João was easy to be in touch with and met us at the apartment. The place was comfortable, clean, spacious, had beautiful views, and very important for a winter visit- the heaters worked well and there were lots of warm blankets too. It’s an amazing location right above Praia do Odeceixe and on the Rota Vicentina. Odeceixe was so quiet and abandoned at this time of year- we were the only ones on the beach and most shops were closed for the season. The Merceria in town (3.5 km away) had groceries (delicious homemade bread) and we brought some food with us too. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking.
Excellent location for people to retreat with stunning features and great concept. Sleeping to the sound of frogs and crickets with no light pollution. Fresh air off road away from any noise but still close to towns and beaches. Absolutely loved it and will come back!
A lovely chalet in a very nice surrounding. Perfect place for walking along the beautifull coast. Very friendly staff. The chalet was very clean with good amenities. We can highly recommend this place.
Beautiful, clean rooms and bathrooms. Each room also has a small outdoor patio area. The restaurant and pool area are great. Delicious breakfast.
Super chilled out place with friendly staff, great place to relax. Lots of good recommendations on which local restaurants to visit.
