Massages are really good, high quality professionals. Asked for a couple massage (both at the same time) which was not an option but they made it possible.
Restaurant is very good price value.
Sauna space was wonderfull. Bedrooms and the whole hotel feels very new and clean.

Viana is the perfect place for those who love water sports. From kayak, to surf, windsurf, kitesurfing, this is the spot in Portugal for it. The old town is well preserved and you have a number of options regarding restaurantes around.

Gorgeous city by the sea.
Gorgeous city by the sea. Beautiful blend of the old and the new, from a bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel to a modern shopping plaza in the centre of town near the main train station. A definite Parisian feel with lots of colorful sidewalk cafes and shops along clean, tree lined streets. Viano do Castelo has a nice maritime feel to it with nearby beaches, historic old city center, many good restaurants, and sits below the amazing Santa Luzia Cathedral. One must visit the Cathedral and if daring go up to the top of the Cathedral (mix of elevator and then steps) for the best 360 degree views of the region, ocean and land.MichaelCanada - 10Scored 10

I loved everything about Viana do Castelo. It was New Year's Eve and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely one of the best nights of my life! The people, the decorations, the lights and although a lot of fun was being had, it just felt so safe and welcoming! The next morning the streets were spotless, everyone wishing you a Happy New Year and it was all in all just perfect. I'll definitely be coming back. Lovely town to stroll around with lots of interesting buildings/architecture, nice boutiques and specialist shops and a good mix of places to eat. If we had stayed longer it would have been worth having a car but for 4 nights it was fine without. (Hotel has a car park)

The ladies in the kitchen disinfected tables and chairs after anyone who had breakfast and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The staff were also nice and helpful. For us it was perfect, that we could arrive by train and did not need a car, since the owner offered us bicycles. The house is right on the coastal bike and hiking path. The next town, Viana do Castelo, to shop and go out for dinner is only 7 km and very nice.
