Big beds. Big shower for two persons. Good hotel employees. Special appreciation for the OPO hotel shuttle bus service, it collected us at the rental car return point. And the next early morning drove us to the OPO airport

This stay was nothing short of exquisite. Every detail was beautifully executed and the customer service was unrivaled by any other stay in nearly 3 weeks of travel. Highly, highly recommend.

The bed was very comfortable. It is a quick walk to the airport. They also have a shuttle that runs every 20 min for 2 euros. They have a restaurant that offers buffet options for breakfast lunch and dinner. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good. Breakfast was 9 euros, dinner was 21 or 26 euros depending on what you wanted.

The proximity to OPO was so convenient for an early morning flight. The gentleman who checked us in and out was very kind and helpful, and despite our language barrier, we felt understood and welcomed. He even prepared a few treats for us to go since we didn't have time for breakfast. We all appreciated the hospitality, the hot water, the quietness, and the convenience.

The size of the room and the friendliness of the staff are the hotel's highlights. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. I enjoyed my stay, but the hotel needs to improve in some areas. Does not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel.
Excellent location and price for an airport stopover.
Excellent location and price for an airport stopover. We flew in late afternoon and had a very early flght out of OPO. The hotel is about 5min drive from the airport. They provided a free shuttle both directions. I called for the pickup. They scheduled us for the every 30 min shuttle to the airport.
There is a nice restaurant onsite and a bar with food as well. Se left too early to have breakfast(I understand there is a charge for that) The room charge was less than 100 euros.

This hotel is close to the airport, and it's exactly what you expect of these types of hotels.
Limited bar and limited food (when we arrived we could only order online deliveries to the hotel) and bar was closing 11pm.
Shower and beds were spacious, clean and comfy which is what you need for one night sleep before continuing your journey.

The staff was very helpful, nice, super friendly and always approachable.
We arrived a bit early and went for a walk, when we returned they already put our luggage in the room.
They provided us breakfast at 3am (early flight) and shuttle to the airport at 4am.
It's a shame we only had one short night there as we loved it.
Thanks for this perfect stay!

Sadly, this was my second stay at this hotel and it was not nearly as good as the first time I was disappointed that there was no soap by the sink in the bathroom nor did the soap dispenser work that was in the shower. My friend stayed in a separate room and had no hot water. When I called the front desk, they did bring me two small bottles of liquid shower gel. Also, the phone by the bed had a flashing red light throughout the entire stay. We called about it, they told us "how to fix it," but it didn't work. When we checked in, I felt that they made us wait far longer than necessary for a room to be available.
On the good side, the pizza in the bar was good and they have a great breakfast for 10 euros. Also, the airpost shuttle was good.
I'd like to stay here again, but I will be checking out other nearby hotels. Also, we paid for two nights, but left at 5:30pm on the second night and they should have treated us better.

We liked the openness of the hotel and its grounds.
We liked the openness of the hotel and its grounds. It is intended for passengers arriving or departing from Porto Airport, which is why we stayed there, and it is walking distance from the airport (100 metres). It is clean and comfortable and the staff were fun and helpful. The room was comfortable and airy, with big window opening onto the open area at rear of hotel. Adjacent car parking available. Continental breakfast was excellent.
No more then 5 minutes walk from airport terminal, paved all the way so was able to go from terminal to hotel with baggage trolley, (also very close to the Metro if would like to spend the say in Porto itself.) Hotel staff very polite, pleasant and friendly, excellent English, and the room very clean and comfortable, also enjoyed the breakfast which is served to the room and came at the time we ordered.
Overall, extremely good value for money, ideal location and if staying over night in Porto again will definitely choose the Solar Antigo.
I found this hotel to be exceptionally good value at €32 for a Saturday night stay. I needed to use the bus to return to the Camino in Maia early on Sunday morning but found it very difficult to decipher the Portuguese web information. Two of the desk staff came to my rescue and retrieved exact timetable information for me and were able to give me precise directions in fluent Englisn. Very impressive. The room was very well appointed and most importantly I slept well. I recommend Casa Teresa to all.
Proximity to the airport and affordability were the key factors in booking this hotel. Hotel also offers free shuttle service to the airport which was a bonus. We found both the hotel and room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served to our room in a basket which was well stocked with fresh bread and croissants, cheese, ham, butter, yogurt, juice as well as tea and coffee (which we brewed fresh in our room).
Excellent acommodation. Our room was clean, we had a very good private bathroom, AC with heating and cooling, windows have excellent blinds so the bedroom gets properly dark, wifi worked great and self checkin + general mobility was great as the property and the bedroom had electronic password locks. I can only recommed ! Maia is about 30min from the center of Porto, but a great area and super close to the airport.
We loved that we could walk to the airport. The employee who helped us check in was very informative and advised that we could walk over and get a luggage cart to store at the hotel to make transporting our bags to the airport for our early flight easier. No need to take a taxi except if you have mobility limitations - the walk is very reasonable and safe (though there was one spot of sidewalk needing repair).
The location is good, and it was easy to drop off my car hire and return to the airport. It's handy having the metro stop nearby to go into Porto or the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are good value for the money.
My biggest issue is with the unfriendly and cold staff. I have stayed here on three separate occasions, and the staff always seem uninterested, not very helpful, and cold.
Personnel eas both at the reception and restaurant extremely helpful and smiley.
The location was perfect. Metro stop Forum Maia is very close to the hotel, area is located near a park and only 15 minutes to the airport.
Really great hotel - staff were super helpful, decor was tasteful, rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, the facilities were great and the airport shuttle was on time and super efficient.
The hotel is clean, bright and modern. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful. The location was good for the airport and onward travel.
I would definitely go back.
Old-style hotel. Lovely wooden desk with view of park. A good budget option close to the airport--7 to 10 Euro taxi or Uber. Close walk to a small shopping mall.
