Perfect place when visiting Aveiro! The bed was so comfortable, the shower was spacious, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the lighthouse. We loved this place so much that we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was excellent. There is also a cafe right by the corner of the hotel. Space was so clean and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

The location had easy access to the beach. The balconies with shade were a nice hangout space. The place was clean, and the appliances in the kitchen were updated. The couch was nice and the decorations were cute. Beach accessories were available to use. The beds were comfortable. Owners were really responsive via text or call.

It is close to the train station and there is a cafe and a laundromat directly across the street which was very helpful to us.

This place was absolutely great. The staff is really great. There are awesome little design features all over the place. We were in room 8. it is a little constrained but everything is super well organized. The service area has everything you need. The breakfast are super. The fresh fruits are great local produce. The awesome breads for breakfast are made fresh in the great bakery across the street every morning are unique local products that taste really good. Their morning orange juice has some really neat healthy twists with carrot and saffron that need to be tasted and enjoyed. This place needs to be tried. There is a common service area on the first floor with a refrigerator, microwave, and equipment to make coffee and tea. There are lots of great restaurants and places to get crapes, and sweets and food in shacks on the street. The sunsets are so cool on the beach that is 20 meters around the corner. They‘re awesome!!! There was a Nobe place on the plaza with the lighthouse that had unique and awesome food. There were so many great things here Park the car and go everywhere on foot. The beach, the boardwalk, the restaurants, the great places to enjoy the sunsets, the little shacks on the street with sweets and snacks are all reachable on foot. Enjoy the Portuguese food and especially the wines wherever you go. Relax it’s great

Praia da Barra beach is nice for walk and enjoy the sunset, breeze walk with lot of amenities. It is good for evening halfday trip to enjoy the beach if you stay in Aveiro town. There is a bus 'Costa Nova' - 2.45e to get there from Aveiro bus station which is very convenient and easy accessible. Highly recommended if you have extra time in Aveiro.

A couple of days in Praia da Barra is the perfect add-on to...
A couple of days in Praia da Barra is the perfect add-on to a stay in the nearby city of Aveiro. We used the Transdev bus to get to and from here and enjoyed the fresh atlantic ocean air while enjoying the seaside. there are plenty of eating and drinking opportunities and a couple of grocery shops for provisions. Another short bus drive can take you down the peninsular to Costa Nova which is also worth a visit.

The helpful staff and view from our room. We arrived too early, but they let us check in early. The lighthouse was easy to see from our balcony. The breakfast room food and view was great. Two wonderful restaurants just around the corner

It is a good place to meet friendly and informal Portogeuse...
It is a good place to meet friendly and informal Portogeuse people on their holidays in their country. The working port nearby provides interesting shipping and fishing boat activity. A good base for touring the Ria also. Cycling and birdwatching in the BioRia wetlands. About 90 minutes drive east to the hills near Viseu is the superb 47km Ecopiste cycling Greenway (Abelenda bike rental). The city if Coimbra is a nice visit about an hour away. Good food at Barra in Corte Real (simple dishes good chips), or Sabor a Maresia (good cataplana).
