If you're here in 2025, make sure to support a local protest or blockade. Be careful of taxi rates and drivers. Most of them do not use a taxi meter, and you have to negotiate the price at the start. They are always up to scam you, since they have so called weekend rates, night rates, rush traffic rates, private company rates etc. Taxis can only be white color cars, any other car will scam you even worse, and might even rob you. Be extra careful, and make sure you negotiate prices before you get into the cab. If genious offers you a taxi rate from the airport to the city take it, as it is 1/3 cheaper than getting a taxi on your own.Guest review byJosipa - 8.0

I stayed in Belgrade only for 3 days to visit my relatives. The city is covered in graffiti which feels like a part of the personality for me. Many trees, nice to look at, feels cozy. I wanted to see Tesla's museum but lamentably it was closed due to many visitors when i found it at 12 p.m., the national museum was free to go on Sunday. Free public transport. I enjoyed botanic garden even though it's not that big, nearby we drank some awesome domacha kafa (for those who love pure coffee it's a cool thing to try). Risotto was tasty both time we ordered it in the different restaurants, same goes for fish. I would love to stay there for longer or visit it again.
