From the moment we checked in, Hilton Belgrade lived up to its name. The room was spacious, spotless, and modern, with a huge window letting in natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the overall design felt premium yet warm. Breakfast was a highlight. The spread was generous—everything from fresh pastries and fruits to hot made-to-order eggs—and the quality was consistent each morning. Service staff were attentive without being intrusive, which made mornings even better. The location is a winner. It’s right in the heart of Belgrade, within walking distance to St. Sava Temple, Nikola Tesla Museum, and plenty of cafés. It’s also well-connected for exploring other parts of the city. What stood out most was the service—polished, friendly, and eager to help. It’s clear the team is trained to make guests feel valued. Overall, a great blend of comfort, convenience, and service. Would absolutely stay here again when in Belgrade.

I was particularly impressed by the young people – relaxed, polite, always with a fresh air, tastefully dressed, modern, but without ostentation. In the city, sports, art and social events intertwine in a way that makes you want to participate, even if you hadn’t planned to. The city shows its history through museums and elegant buildings, and the lively terraces are a constant invitation to stop by. From place to place, there are also less well-kept corners, but which, in their own way, add authenticity to the landscape. It is a cosmopolitan city, which offers you not only tourist attractions, but also a diversity of experiences – from relaxation to excitement – that you will take with you long after you have left.

The city is really crowded, so keep an eye on your belongings, and you don't need much time for Belgrade—two days is enough. The food and drinks are good and inexpensive. Buses are free, so you can use them.

Belgrade is just one of those cities that breathes life into you. You have endless choices in terms of cafes, restaurants, bars, parks, neighbourhoods... Public transport is free which is a big plus. If you're here in 2025, make sure to support a local protest or blockade. For bonus points, go to Pionirski Park and ask the government-paid "security" why you're not allowed to enter public property ;)

Be careful of taxi rates and drivers.

Be careful of taxi rates and drivers. Most of them do not use a taxi meter, and you have to negotiate the price at the start. They are always up to scam you, since they have so called weekend rates, night rates, rush traffic rates, private company rates etc. Taxis can only be white color cars, any other car will scam you even worse, and might even rob you. Be extra careful, and make sure you negotiate prices before you get into the cab. If genious offers you a taxi rate from the airport to the city take it, as it is 1/3 cheaper than getting a taxi on your own.

I stayed in Belgrade only for 3 days to visit my relatives.

I stayed in Belgrade only for 3 days to visit my relatives. The city is covered in graffiti which feels like a part of the personality for me. Many trees, nice to look at, feels cozy. I wanted to see Tesla's museum but lamentably it was closed due to many visitors when i found it at 12 p.m., the national museum was free to go on Sunday. Free public transport. I enjoyed botanic garden even though it's not that big, nearby we drank some awesome domacha kafa (for those who love pure coffee it's a cool thing to try). Risotto was tasty both time we ordered it in the different restaurants, same goes for fish. I would love to stay there for longer or visit it again. Living there wouldn't be that bad as well as it seems to me right now

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It has a private parking just for the guests of the hotel, it is well connected with public transport (there is a bus and tram stop right next to the hotel), there are few markets, bakeries, cafes nearby - you can go to "Thinkers coffee bar" for breakfast and "Pivo i kobaja" for a drink if you don't feel like going to the city center. The room was very clean, bright and cozy. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back if we go again in Belgrade.

Whilst not a city centre location, this hotel is easy to reach and since the start of 2025 public transport is free in Belgrade which includes route 600 to and from the airport. The stop (Mostar) for this bus is under 10 minutes walk away. Overall the hotel was very good value compared to many available. It's a 1960s style from the communist era but has been reasonably well maintained and clean. Reception staff were friendly and rooms were fairly basic furnished. Bathroom was in good condition. No complaints at all.

Generally, it was okay for one one-night break to our trip. The rooftop restaurant is the best that the hotel has. We stated a preference during booking for a quiet room, but it was Saturday and the nearby Student Dormitory had a big party :)
