Nice small town, very green, relaxing and beautiful nature. The people are so nice! Lovely view from Kostanjevitsa hill! We had dinner at Restaurant Pri Hrastu and launch at Ošterija Žogica - I can recommend both places l. There are also many small cafes and bakeries around the town. Nova Gorica is a small city but has everything a traveler needs. Getting around is easy as most things are within walking distance and the city buses are free. Two good places to eat are Fabrika, a bar and restaurant in the pedestrian center with great burgers and Gurmand, an informal place with both Slovene and Italian food. Fans of beer should visit O’Haras with its hundreds of beers. There are also a number of casinos for those who like gambling.AAnonymousEgypt - 4.0Scored 4.0

The italian Gorizia Is the interesting side of the city. You cannot realize the Slovenian Italian border , so It was interesting. The culture and historical things are in Gorizia (Italy) but the verrà , pubs are much more Better in Gorica (Slovenia)

Everything was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owner of the accommodation is extremely accommodating, friendly and ready to help. The location is perfect, on the border between Italy and Slovenia, while in the immediate vicinity there is a bakery, a large store and a gasoline station. Recommended for all those who do not expect fashionable accommodation, but need peace. Good value for money ratio.

There are few hotels and accommodations in Nova Gorica, so they can drive the price as much as they want. But I have stayed in multiple 4 and 5 star hotels around Europe and this is not it. The room is still very nice, clean and practical, regardless of it being overpriced. Also, excellent breakfast choices, I was able to order room service breakfast every day.
