Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the center of town, Booking.com will help you explore all that Bangkok has to offer.
It’s all interesting… like travelling to another planet.
It’s all interesting… like travelling to another planet. Many people speak enough English to assist you and are happy to do so… even complete strangers. Google mapping makes getting around a breeze if you need it.
It’s an assault on the senses but you can find tranquility if you desire it.

I spent three days in Bangkok on the way back home from Indonesia. It was my third visit but I still haven't seen everything I'm interested in. This time I visited amulet market, Grand Palace, Siam Museum, rooftop bar at SO hotel, Wat Paknam and Big Budha temple, Klong Bang Luang Floating Market, Arun Riverside rooftop restaurant, ICONSIAM mall and viewing terrace and Meridian Chaopraya river Cruise. Tip: I was able to hire a small boat trip from Wat Paknam to Bang Luang market only for 500 THB. Just ask passers-by.

The temperature was hot but expected with rain for a while mostly at night but it is the rainy season and anyway the rain clears and because of the heat the place dries up quickly. The location I stayed at was just adequate but cheap and I only got what I paid for. The people are so polite and helpful and always seem to be in good form and smiling a lot. Most of the street signs are in English as well as thai but if you loose your way there is almost always someone in a shop or even on the street who will gladly help you with directions in fair English. I love Bangkok. The ladies are so petite and beautiful

Great city. Hot and rainy in May/June.
Great city. Hot and rainy in May/June. The buses are not easy to learn how to get on. The fastest way to get around is by train or bike. Traffic is mad. Overall, it is a great city with lots of food and things to do as a tourist.

a city with the blend of everything where you can get a taste of culture, tradition, & their nightlife and it doesn't break the bank. This city is backpackers friendly its one of those city where you can walk alone and nobody bothers you. Walked throughout the city alone past midnight and it felt safe. But bare in mind that it's a city full of tourist so there are many tourist traps so be smart to avoid them else you'll be wasting money
By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. If I ever go back to Bangkok, I will definitely stay here again.
The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. They will go the extra mile to keep the customers satisfied.
The breakfast has a lot of variety and food being prepared on the spot. The executive lounge is a great addition and definitely worth it.
The swimming pool is medium-sized but more than enough for our needs.
Very appropriate price for all that's included. Definitely recommended
The location is good for exploring Bangkok, walking distance from Khao San Road but far enough away that it's not busy. The staff are very friendly (they don't speak much English but communication wasn't an issue). Hotel offers several services including laundry, airport shuttle and cafe. Felt safe and secure with key card activated door to the building and was good for price we paid. Rooms are all upstairs with no lift, not an issue for us but some might want to be aware of this.
Everything exceeded my expectations! We've stayed at the Mandarin, Kimptom and for the price and location, this is now one of our favourite hotels in bangkok! The staff especially made our stay really amazing! Special mention to Palm at reception, Nat at breakfast and the lovely hostesses in the Club room! They made us feel like royalty! Rooms were perfectly laid out, really comfortable beds, cleaning staff were thorough and very clean!
Phenominal ambiance and entertainment with beautifully decorated rooms to match. Staff super helpful and efficient and made everything a pleause . Design and decor fantastic . Khun Yosh and his counterpart at the front dest were so kind . We will most definately visit again and am rather sad that we never swapped the high priced hotels on Sukumwit for Shanghai Mansion years ago . This is our new go to place in Bangkok !
Having now stayed at The Centre Point, Sukhumvit on a number of occasions, so much so that we now call it our home from home in Bangkok.
We find the hotel to not only be convenient in all aspects of location etc. but also very fairly priced in comparison to other similar hotels.
Exhalent sleeping arrangement for two adults and a three year old child.
Without doubt we will be rebooking on our next trip to Bangkok.
Le Tada is my favourite place to be in Bangkok and this is my third stay at this hotel. Spacious rooms, Excellent breakfast, homely feel and quiet surroundings with a very good park with lake just opposite to hotel. Besides, many different kinds of restaurants and cafes nearby. Metro connectivity at walking distance and Express way connection to Airport plus point.
It is one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok. This was my third stay with them and they never disappoint. Very large rooms, breakfast at 81st floor with an amazing view, free access to the revolving deck on 84th floor, 5 minutes away from Ratchaprarop ARL station, next to the Pratunam markets, excelent luggage concierge.
good location lots of facilities and decent pool. We’ve stayed pretty much everywhere in Thailand (top hotels) as we often do staycations living in bangkok ourselves I think the breakfast here is by far the best in Bangkok. exceptional choice and just the sheer amount of different breakfast options make it the best.
Compared to other hotels in Bangkok, Ramada Sukhumvit 87 Front Desk and F&B staff by far the best in terms of helpfulness and friendliness. Also the location is great as only 5-7 minutes walk to On Nut Station. I choose a Duplex Room as just what my wife needs. Will choose to stay here again in the future.
Location, 10min on foot to the Airport, 7eleven 1min away.
Great for 1night stay waiting for flight.
Perfect communication with staff via whatsapp.
They provide full details how to reach the hotel and check in / out - since it is a contactless checkin and check out.
Price per night.
This hotel is the best we have been in Bangkok for the price. I've been in 4 hotels there, all of them more expensive. It is in the center and the room was excellent. Big with good views and even kitchen. The quality is stunning for the price. Breakfast was optional.
We stayed in a couple of hotels all over Phuket and Bangkok but this was the best value for money. Amazing location and loved the funky vibe! We stayed in a deluxe private room with private washroom and considering the price it was a great deal. Highly recommended!
The staff especially the front desk officer named Ms. Belle was so accommodating. The room boys and chamberlain are good, they doing their job smoothly. If I have again seminars or other things to do in Bangkok I'd like to book again Red Planet Hotel. 😊
The place is near the Pratunam Market. It's on your doorstep when you go out the hotel. There's a near canteens, post office and lot of dress store and souvenirs in the area. The staff can speak english and is kind. I will be back soon.
Room was very nice and spacious. The floor was not carpeted which is great. Staff were very friendly. Aromatherapy massage was great and very relaxing. The hotel is very near Don Muang Airport and Bangkok Immigration Office.
If you spend extended time on your computer then you won't find a better hotel in Bangkok. Rooms have big nice desks and proper office chairs! I think it's worth it to spend a bit more and stay in the city view rooms.
Customer service tip top. They really help in whatever you ask. Like speak to the grab driver, call the bus office for us and etc. All in all, a hotel I would love to repeat if I ever be on Bangkok again.
I like to try new hotels every time I travel to Bangkok. But here I like The price is good value for money and kudos to the staff for their hospitality.
