Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. Bangkok is apparently the most visited city in the world.
Bangkok is apparently the most visited city in the world. Even having loved in London and New York, I found the noise and traffic overwhelming. And it is a large, sprawled out city as well. Fortunately public transportation is excellent.
You must visit Chatachuk Market!
One of the world's "must see" cities.

heaven for people who love street food. Numerous options to enrich your taste buds with rare delicacies.
Budget friendly destination.
Use the klook app to make the booking and you may also try to check other applications, just google it.
we used the public transport systems like ferry, bus, metro and tuktuk.
if you are good at bargaining you can hire taxi on the go but if not try to book taxi on grab or bolt.
keep a lot of handy cash as the economy is more cash sensitive.
would recommend to get your currency exchanged before arrival, as this will avoid unnecessary trouble for currency exchanges.
try to make your bookings in advance and also if possible make the payments. if you swipe your cards they may charge you 2.5-3% extra.

I love Bangkok, despite the Thais wanting to tear down anything that is old and has merit. For me it is paradise on earth. I have kept an apartment in Bangkok for more than twenty years, and love the culture and the people, and the kindness. It is cheap to live there , I love the heat and the array of food, music and dancing. The transport system has improved year by year, and is now one of the best in Asia. The ease of living is extraordinary and I recommend it wholeheartedly

It is over crowded by the tourist and the local people just want to squeez your money out. My friend is Thai and everywhere we go if there's no price on it they try to charge me double, I only realize beacuse my friend is local.
Everything is very clean and neat, the pool area looks wonderfull and the pool itself is relatively big. There is also a small gym right near the pool so you can go for a swim right after the workout. The location is nice, there is a metro station 7 min walk away and plenty of food/coffee places nearby. Also it`s very close to some attractions and the area itself is very authentic and interesting to explore. We`ve stayed in 3 hotels within similar price range during our time in Bangkok and this one was definitely my favourite.
I was here for an Open House for the new LDS Temple in Krungthep (Bangkok). We were also having a reunion for anyone who was ever a Missionary here in Thailand. This location was a city block away from the reunion site and a block and a half away from the new Temple. Easy access to the Airport Link train and the subway station that connects to the fantastic public transit system in Krungthep. I chose this place for that reason, but the serviced apartment we were in had more than any Hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Krungthep
The hotel is conveniently located in the buzzing Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, 10 mins from MBK and other shopping malls, and one street behind the Jim Thompson house. The staff at reception and security was friendly and professional. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. I had all amenities in the bathroom, including free bottles of water.
At check-out, I was asked if I needed a taxi, told the price prior to the reservation and had a wonderful private drive to the airport. That was a nice added service.
The price of the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was near the skytrain so was easy to get around. There were places to eat nearby and a food market. We also enjoyed the Jazz Bar about 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Also, about 40 minutes from the airport for transfers. We left our luggage at the hotel for 2 weeks whilst we went travelling and collected on our return to the hotel, this was a great convenience for us. We would stay here again if visiting Bangkok.
Wonderful alternative for hotels. This apartment style hotel is a great option for people that already know Bangkok and want to get away from the tourist locations.
Good service, apartment is being cleaned daily, the gym was great and the location isn't too far from Ladprao but you will need a car, motorbike or use trains to get around.
The hotel also currently has a free shuttle service to the nearest train a few times a day.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel... 😌
Everything exceeded my expectations! We've stayed at the Mandarin, Kimptom and for the price and location, this is now one of our favourite hotels in bangkok! The staff especially made our stay really amazing! Special mention to Palm at reception, Nat at breakfast and the lovely hostesses in the Club room! They made us feel like royalty! Rooms were perfectly laid out, really comfortable beds, cleaning staff were thorough and very clean!
Beautiful hotel, garden and outstanding service.
I've been to 4 different five stars hotels in Thailand, by far this provided the best service, had the best staff.
They did an incredible job, noticed every single detail.
They do offer 15% off on most of things for kempinski membership, which looks ill be using especially if their services are top notch everywhere else, not just Bangkok.
In short, PERFECT
From its location in Langsuan (my favorite part of Bangkok), to the size of the executive suite, and from the extremely affordable price of the same to the wonderful staff, and the delightful rose oil aroma wafting through the entire place, this hotel truly makes me feel like home. And I know what this feels like, since I actually lived in Bangkok for two years. But staying here is better.
I like the location of 4m pratu nam hotel. Near to 7E, BTS Phaya Thai station, pratunam market, a lot of massage service shop and some mall. Just walking distance. Also, u can buy some souvenir at hotel. The staffs so helpful. They help me to booking taxi to transfer from hotel to airport. And allowed me to check in early. Will repeat stay here if i go to Bangkok again. Very recommended
Although in the centre of Bangkok, this hotel is very close to a direct rail link to Suvarnabhumi airport, and is a higher quality hotel than many of those situated near the airport, indeed the rail fare to/from the airport to Rachaprarop station, is cheaper than the taxi fare required to reach the hotels close to the airport, so it makes good money sense to stay at the Siam Star.
It's convenient to get to the hotel if you're coming from one of the two airports in Bangkok. Although the road by the hotel is a main road for commuters, I did not hear car noises and frequent honks when I was in the room. I also like the location is in the alley, so there's a quiet space for travelers to rest at night.
I really liked the location of this hotel, it is walking distance to central world, which is a nice mall in Bangkok, also it's one subway away to Silom where you can find all the massages and night markets.
The room service in the hotel is amazing, the food comes quick and the price is very very good!
Great hotel in a great location when you forest arrive in Bangkok. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Pool is great. Good and drink is very expensive for Thailand and not great - can get far better food in local places in the same road for quarter of the price. The same goes for massages
The staff especially the front desk officer named Ms. Belle was so accommodating. The room boys and chamberlain are good, they doing their job smoothly. If I have again seminars or other things to do in Bangkok I'd like to book again Red Planet Hotel. 😊
The place is near the Pratunam Market. It's on your doorstep when you go out the hotel. There's a near canteens, post office and lot of dress store and souvenirs in the area. The staff can speak english and is kind. I will be back soon.
Room was very nice and spacious. The floor was not carpeted which is great. Staff were very friendly. Aromatherapy massage was great and very relaxing. The hotel is very near Don Muang Airport and Bangkok Immigration Office.
clean and great location. It was close to the hotels where I was staying before, but for half the price of the hotels! I was happy to switch to K Home for my last night in Bangkok.
