Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the center of town, Booking.com will help you explore all that Bangkok has to offer.

a city with the blend of everything where you can get a taste of culture, tradition, & their nightlife and it doesn't break the bank. This city is backpackers friendly its one of those city where you can walk alone and nobody bothers you. Walked throughout the city alone past midnight and it felt safe. But bare in mind that it's a city full of tourist so there are many tourist traps so be smart to avoid them else you'll be wasting money

It is a wonderful city, with very friendly people.
It is a wonderful city, with very friendly people. Lots of temples, contrasts (jungle, jungle canals, and in another neighborhood imposing skyscrapers, luxurious hotels and giant malls).
Transportation is not so good, the tuk-tuk are fast but you have to bargain (for those of us who do not like bargaining is not highly recommended) and also a vehicle too noisy and that exposes you to the pollution of a busy street.
The food is excellent and varied, with restaurants of all kinds. Convenience stores everywhere are well equipped with everything you need. Excellent atmosphere 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, there are always places open.

Bangkok is a vibrant city with diverse food and a rich culture, friendly people and things were reasonably cheap we found. The ferry was much more convenient than taking the bus. We wished we could have stayed longer.... The temples and palaces are a must see, even if you aren't religious. Pad Thai and freshly made juices were simply heavenly.

I always stay at Prince Palace Hotel in Bo Bae.
I always stay at Prince Palace Hotel in Bo Bae. Garment shopping in this area is fabulous. It is far cheaper than the city per se provided you are able to purchase the minimum quantities required.
Not a lot of restaurants in this area but a lot of great street food.
My favorite breakfast is this: Exit the hotel through the main doors and turn left. Walk past the small shrine far left and you will find a Lorong that leads out to a main thoroughfare. Go down here and turn right. About 30 meters down is a 7 Eleven store. In front of the entrance to the 7 Eleven on the left-hand side is a stall that sells only one dish. Roast Duck noodle soup. Absolutely fabulous, and only 60 THB per bowl. I go there every morning; the blend of flavors are so good and the serving size is quite generous. This place is open from around 5:00 am. See photo that follows.

this is mostly for Arab families, stay away from nana if you are going with family. its a not place for kids. Siam is nice for shopping and the hotel are nice. if you will go to nana to Arab streets go with the metro but don't stay there.
halal food is either expensive or flavorless. but AYA japanese restaurant is both halal and tasty. you can get by with seafood. if you are craving for a burger, prime burger is the best halal burger place literally so good. Nuatair is good also.
use metro to get around but try to avoid the peak hours.
also floating market is just a tourist trap you can get the same souvenirs in the malls around Bangkok. unless you will get stay in boat to look around only.
Very large and centrally located relatively close to Bangkok landmarks but far from busy shopping and night entertainment. The hotel has 4 towers, 3 swimming pools, a large gym, spa and an interior jacuzzi. Several restaurants inside the hotel, I recommend the pool bar restaurant at night for the ribs with local beer, and the duck at the Chinese on the 32th floor. The massage service is professional but very expensive compared with the local prices. Rooms are very large and clean with daily renewal of toiletry and two bottles of water.
The hotel is conveniently located in the buzzing Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, 10 mins from MBK and other shopping malls, and one street behind the Jim Thompson house. The staff at reception and security was friendly and professional. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. I had all amenities in the bathroom, including free bottles of water.
At check-out, I was asked if I needed a taxi, told the price prior to the reservation and had a wonderful private drive to the airport. That was a nice added service.
The location is good for exploring Bangkok, walking distance from Khao San Road but far enough away that it's not busy. The staff are very friendly (they don't speak much English but communication wasn't an issue). Hotel offers several services including laundry, airport shuttle and cafe. Felt safe and secure with key card activated door to the building and was good for price we paid. Rooms are all upstairs with no lift, not an issue for us but some might want to be aware of this.
Such an amazing find! I understand why this place gets booked out so quickly. Beautiful staff that could not possibly be more helpful, even booked my coach/ferry to Koh Samui and booked an appointment at immigration office for me.
Location is perfect, AMAZING Thai restaurant only a few minutes walk away (Kao Tom Thewet) and although the hotel is close/easy access to everything it is also incredibly quiet and peaceful.
I would never chose to stay anywhere else in Bangkok now.
Hotel location is very good. Easy to go there by train also ,Station "Pahayathai and National munament " located around 600 meters radius. Breakfast was very tasty and more verities .We had our breakfast in all the days.
Front ,restaurant and all other staff were very fascinating look, All the time smiling and helping. Thanks so much for all hotel staff. If we come again this hotel is our first selection in Bangkok . Recommended for all visitors who are visiting Thailand.
Having now stayed at The Centre Point, Sukhumvit on a number of occasions, so much so that we now call it our home from home in Bangkok.
We find the hotel to not only be convenient in all aspects of location etc. but also very fairly priced in comparison to other similar hotels.
Exhalent sleeping arrangement for two adults and a three year old child.
Without doubt we will be rebooking on our next trip to Bangkok.
Okay, so I did enjoy this hotel, however, I stayed here towards the end of my holidays and found that the quality of the hotel differed significantly from the standard that I had come to expect of hotels in Bangkok and Thailand in general. The good points were the outstanding roof side pool, the gym and the hospitality.
Also it was well located in terms of things to do, markets, Siam Paragon etc etc.
Excellent location, superb restaurants. I honestly recommend this property over every hotel I’ve stayed at in Bangkok. And I’ve stayed at many 5 star properties there…
Well managed, priced well, best location opposite the BTS Skytrain. One of their bars faces the rail cars as they pass by…incredible pool in a grotto setting, huge modern gym. This will be my go to for any future trip to Bangkok…
I like the location of 4m pratu nam hotel. Near to 7E, BTS Phaya Thai station, pratunam market, a lot of massage service shop and some mall. Just walking distance. Also, u can buy some souvenir at hotel. The staffs so helpful. They help me to booking taxi to transfer from hotel to airport. And allowed me to check in early. Will repeat stay here if i go to Bangkok again. Very recommended
This hotel is one of the best hotels in Bangkok. I stayed there in July 2022 during their soft opening. They provided free nights for my stay at no cost! New and spotless facilities, extremely spacious, helpful staff, and great location near exchange, 7-11, and major cinema complex. They even arranged for ride to the airport. I am staying with them again.
Best breakfast (Thai dishes !!) we had in Thailand, prepared by Kanta‘s mum.
Rooms are large, clean and super quiet. Very comfy beds and bedsheets. Wonderful hosts. Only 10 mins walk to EM Quartier and BTS, close to good restaurants. We’ve stayed in many hotels in Bangkok, and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed at in the city.
Amazing staff, super friendly and always available to help and resolve any issue.
Minimalist and spotless room. It is a simple, beautiful and clean hotel.
Privileged location, literally two steps from the boat station, from where you can go to Bangkok's main tourist and cultural attractions; and 20 minutes walk from Khao San Road.
Fair price.
We stayed in a standard double room as family (2 adults + 1 toddler). Our room has really good size, a big room for a small boutique hotel. Rooms are very nicely designed. It is a true boutique hotel in a very central part of Bangkok. It was also one of the best price performance hotel, we have ever stay in Thailand.
I really liked the location of this hotel, it is walking distance to central world, which is a nice mall in Bangkok, also it's one subway away to Silom where you can find all the massages and night markets.
The room service in the hotel is amazing, the food comes quick and the price is very very good!
Excellent hotel for all purposes. Quiet, room size is slightly bigger than most hotels. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has great selection that suits all tastes. The hotel is a five minute walk to the largest mall in Bangkok ( the ICONSIAM) and the river cruises dock .
Room was very nice and spacious. The floor was not carpeted which is great. Staff were very friendly. Aromatherapy massage was great and very relaxing. The hotel is very near Don Muang Airport and Bangkok Immigration Office.
Great location, 10 min walk to the airport rail link. The staff is very friendly and gives very good service. Reasonable price for a reasonably sized room. We're be coming back to this hotel when in Bangkok again!
They are new hotel so everything is so clean
They also provide airport pick-up which is very nice and convenient if you arrive to Bangkok during midnight
