The safety was excellent while walking around the streets of Ankara. I have visited a very few attractive places for tourists;
I would like to mention that there is a great possibility to eat healthy food in most restaurants and cafes; people are great; Hamamonu street is superb, also on kizilay district (the city center) you can enjoy well!
You can use your master card while using bus and metro stations, it was really comfortable and there is no need to take local ticket transport cards;
Tunali Hilmi Caddesi is worth to have a look; Also Ramada shopping areas and it's sub-around cafes are great!
The transport system looks great and easy to get around;
Avoid to have less time while being in Ankara :)

After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

Ankara is just another city.
Large. Lots of people
I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.
- location was great
- staff were amazingly friendly
- booked the king suite so it was super spacious and amazingly well equipped with everything needed.
- highly recommended eventhough might be a little expensive
- they have a buffet for meals other than breakfast, so whether you have it included in the booking or pay for it, you could enjoy the wide variety of food and the price is not high for a 5 star hotel.
Very good location, near the Ankara Castle, The Anatolian civilizations Museum and in front of a good restaurant with exceptional view to the city.
The owner were very kind and supportive. He even supplied us with the HES codes, required in Turkey to enter some public places. We're really grateful!
The breakfast was wonderful too. We tasted cream and honey on the slice of bread for first time. We loved it ☺️
Location is excellent, it's in the city centre, with lots of cosy restaurants and bars around it and a young and hip crowd. It's a theme hotel with paintings of knights and princesses on the walls and wooden lion heads on the doors. Great wood/artwork. The room was spacious and cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the evening shift. Breakfast was fresh.
The room was quite spacious and comfortable with a luxury bathroom. The pool area is well kept with a big undercover pool. Overall, I liked the feel of the hotel. It is in good part of Ankara, practically in the city centre, but away from the noise that comes with the hustle and bustle of the shopping and entertainment district.
Everything was very well. Especially Mrs. Leyla was so polite and helpful. Convenient location. The hotel is close to the city centre, the bus terminal (AŞTİ) and the bus stop for airport buses. There are stores and a hairdresser near the hotel. The room was so cosy and clean. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.
The staff were very helpful and nice. We were able to leave our car there, while we traveled by plane to a few more places in Turkey. The staff were always available for any questions or needs that we asked for. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Ankara.
The hotel is the best one among the hotels around it, I tried all the 3 stars and 4 stars hotels in Kizilay, and this one is one of the top among them, also one of the cheapest, you will get a cheap hotel and a perfect location and the hotel rooms quality is good.
A former caravanserai converted very tastefully into a lovely boutique hotel. The most excellent staff including Mr. Yiğit Sarıkaya who accommodated all our needs. The hotel was very clean and felt very premium. Attention was placed to every detail.
Good afternoon, I came to Ankara again and again I stayed here, a good hotel, this time the staff called me a transfer from the airport, everything was comfortable.
special thanks to the guys at the reception. thank you
Location is excellent everything is walkable distance. Kizilay Mall is walking distance lots of Restaurants around the area. Metro stn just outside the hotel. Name is Demertepe of the station.
Fantastic hotel for the price! The only hotel I've found in Turkey that actually had a bath tub! And a separate shower. The beds were so comfortable, too! Good sized room. Fancy elevators.
Everything is beyond my expectation. A really "normal" hotel but rare to find else where in Turkey. Car park is easy they reserved for us. Easy to go everywhere. Breakfast is good.
I had traveled for Ankara us embassy and stayed for 18 days in this hotel
Everything was great
The room was big and clean and furniture was new
Breakfast was great as well
not much to not like about a 5 star hotel, it was clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast. also super convenient that the ticket booking office was right next door.
The standard of the hotel is good.
The location of the hotel is 2km from the airport.. a little too far to walk but it's isolated with nothing anywhere near it..
