Hotel in Kizilay, Ankara
Just across the street from Kurtulus Park and steps from the Kolej Subway Station, New Park Hotel offers a spa and wellness center. It is convenient for Ankara’s business district. For the price I payed, everything exceeded my expectations! I was welcomed before the hour of check-in and given perfectly clean beautiful spacious room with the huge bed, great shower, nice tea/coffee zone, also -1 floor was the sauna and swimming pool available, the staff were answering well any questions or requests, I could also address the hotel's management by whatsup. And I'm really thankful for 5am wake-up call and packing up a lunch box with snacks for me as I was leaving before the breakfast time. The place is also in the central good area, easy to find. My conclusion is - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And next time passing by Turkey, I would stop by again.

We arrived around noon time and our room was ready, so that we could checked in easily. We were presented with a welcome food platter by the GM. The room amenities were sufficient. In addition to that, I liked the smartplugs (there was 2) , you just need to bring your charger cable..! No converters required...! I loved the breakfast presentation, it was served as a set menu, with almost everything you would expect from a typical Turkish Breakfast Overall experience is 10/10

beautiful city, that incorporates the real aspects of life in Turkey. People there arenot like in istannbul or Izmir, they are welcoming in their own way, without feeling the touristic pressure. amazing weather in winter (if you are a fan of cold weathe of course) yet the cold isnot a problem all facilities are well warmed up and you just need to dress well for the streets as it can get pretty cold and windy. lovely city, you can see many governmental buildings, side by side to other touristy places. Anitkabir is a must !
They have very delicious homemade food or as they say in the kitchen. Most restaurants do not have cooked rice and this is not suitable for people who are used to eating rice. In general, Ankara is a city with cultured and hospitable people را
This is a city you only go if you have to. It is the government seat, but without that is would be a dot on the map. Traffic is horrible and the city is very dangerous for pedestrians, both by design and mentality. The few items of touristic value do not warrant a trip.
Good contrast to Istanbul, 2 days enough to see city sights but a lot if walking and make sure to stay in Ulus area if your walking. Still a hike to eating area. Price are very good currently with state of lira. Unlike Istanbul which is often a rip off Harder with language but a lot of museums English words too. Nice pub area and your not accosted to eat at a location. Give Ankmall a miss - a gross enormous shopping mall. No maps available for purchase and you have to hunt for tourist info with English guide. 3rd or 4th days could take you to some out of city sights although very little tourist tours ( we found none offered) so very much a DIY city.
Ankara is good for shopping and food as it has many malls, buildings and restaurants. You can walk out till late night. The price is cheaper compare to other places in turkey. The only problem is that not everyone understand English so it is a bit difficult to communicate compared to Istanbul, almost everyone understand English
First of all it was difficult to get hold of a map when in Ankara (I like a map for planning and traveling around better than Google Maps on my cellphone although it works as well). I visited Ankara 1st wk of September, the temperature was well above 30C what I found too hot. You can buy a public transport chip card at the Kizilay subway station (don't know about other locations). You charge it with a chosen amount and use in bus and subway. There also is a very useful public transport planner app (look for "AnkaraKart" in the AppStore) Atatürk mausoleum, changing of the guard and the museum under the mausoleum very impressive. Many other museums. The castle is worth a visit because you have a nice view over the city (the castle itself is only a few walls and stairs) but it is located in the old part of the city. There are also some nice parks.Very nice small streets. Around the castle there are many, many shops, it look like a sort of bazaar. Everything for everyday life is sold. Apart from the Atatürk mausoleum I didn't see lots of tourists... In case you get hungry there are restaurants almost everywhere.
I came in here after a really heavy part of my tour on the bicycle through Turkey for the last 3 weeks. I was looking forward for a nice room with a good shower, after several disappointing rooms in other towns. The Hich Hotel was more than I had hoped for, it was beyond my expectations. The room is superb. Really tasteful decoration. The patio is great. The staff at the reception is really nice, the cleaning is super. I brought in a dog, and the people were awfully sweet to her. I can recommend this room to everyone.
Hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Due to covid-19 pandemic a lot of things and services in Turkey were disrupted during my stay and it often affected my plans considerably. Consequently, they often had to be significantly modified on the spot which wasn't always an easy task. However, hotel staff truly went out of their way to assist me even if in truth that needed not necessarily be their concern. And no one could've blamed them if they had said so.
Best location, right next to ANKAmall - the biggest shopping centre in Ankara. Taxi stop next to hotel. Private transfer in a comfy minivan to and from airport. In-house spa and gym. Staff was very friendly and positive, all issues were resolved promptly. Breakfast selection was very wide. Coming from Europe, price was pretty good, albeit expensive for Turkish prices. For local standards seemed to be a higher end hotel, saw a lot of businessmen and pilots staying there.
I needed a long due break to visit my siblings in Turkey and this was the first time I booked a hotel in Ankara. I must say it was the best decision I made since the hotel’s got a prime location in the city and is fully equipped with all the amenities mentioned. Sena and her team were very friendly and cooperative that made our 2-night stay quite pleasant! Their breakfast was scrumptious too (sharing a picture)! Highly highly recommended!!
It is a bit old but still comfy hotel. The heating was a very pleasant feature in the middle of November and the temperature and the pressure it the shower helped to get warm after long walks around the city. Breakfasts were quite nourishing and diverse so you won’t be hungry. The location is great. There is a taxi spot near the hotel and it was the cheapest taxi in we’ve used in Turkey.
My stay was cut short because of the earthquakes. The hotel very kindly assisted me in cancelling my reservation, liaising with Booking.com and refunding the balance of the cost for the nights I was unable to stay. They also assisted me in organising transport to the airport. Very kind and sensitive staff, made to feel very welcome.
Ankara
High quality clean Hotel for a very reasonable price…Bilal at the reception was also very kind and helpful person I will give him also 5 stars…I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future…if you are looking for a Hotel in Ankara don’t look further this is your place to stay !!
It’s really the best boutique hotel to explore & enjoy the Historical centre of Ankara being a musique by itself with a very interesting full style private musique in the connecting building. Restaurant on the terrace is a must for dinner to marvel the sunset!
+Staff were great and welcoming +Great location(Easy access to demirtepe metro/ankaray in front of hotel / Kizilay centre 5mins walk from hotel) +Clean, cosy and comfortable +Turkish breakfast(simit, borekçi, yoghurt, cereals, patates, among others)
Fantastic hotel for the price! The only hotel I've found in Turkey that actually had a bath tub! And a separate shower. The beds were so comfortable, too! Good sized room. Fancy elevators.
One of the best hotels I have been, great staff, very helpful, we had such good time over here. If I return to Ankara, I'm staying here again. 5 stars
My parents stayed at this hotel. They were quite comfortable and cared for. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean.
The hotel is the closest property to the Ankara airport. Kavakli restaurant is a two-minute walk away and serves excellent food.
The staff of this hotel behaved very respectfully and also knew English very well (unlike other hotels in Turkey)
hotel staff support & availability, clean & calm, the food are excellent, at very nice location near park
Large rooms, located at the city centre, many shops and restaurants around, good restaurant within the hotel
Nice hotel in a lively part of the city. Thanks for having us!
very clean hotel
