After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.

Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey.
Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey. People think if this city only as the capital city; however, it offers many sites and attractions worth visiting and explore. The region around the hotel has many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc., the city has numerous museums, concert halls, parks and shopping venues. Furthermore, it's the most orderly city in Turkiye; hence, getting around is not a problem at all.
The staff at the hotel, particularly Yasin and the lady supervisor, were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They were always available to assist us with calling taxis and provided great restaurant recommendations.
Additionally, the hotel features a delightful patisserie with delicious chocolates that I highly recommend trying.
The location of the hotel is also convenient, with easy access to the taxi station, supermarket, and charming coffee shops. This made exploring Ankara hassle-free and enjoyable.
Very nice, cozy hotel. Excellent location. It is located on a nice, quiet street, several coffee shops and light-food places nearby, several small markets (shops) nearby as well. Kugulu Park and Tunali Hilmi (nice entertainment district of Ankara) is 15 mins walk away. Kizilay is 25 min walk away. On the way you pass several embassies. Neighborhood is safe. The highlight of the stay was the staff at the hotel. Leyla Aliyeva at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thank you very much, hope to be back soon!
This is a small boutique hotel that’s central with food shops and sumpermarts just a stone’s throw away.
Rooms are small and bathrooms even smaller. Claustrophobic I’d say. Even for the bigger category rooms one can’t swing a cat inside.
Breakfast was good with the best eggs served.
What was outstanding thou were the staff who made our stay personable and pleasant. They emphasise on getting to know you and make it a point to connect hence I can understand the high ratings.
5 star for service!
4 for everything else.
Hotel was close to Ankara airport and very convenient for me as I had an early morning flight. I managed a leisurely breakfast before being taken by the free hotel shuttle to the airport 5 minutes’ drive away.
The staff were exceptional - they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to resolve a booking issue I had. Thank you very much.
I only had an overnight stay but I would highly recommend this hotel.
Location is excellent, it's in the city centre, with lots of cosy restaurants and bars around it and a young and hip crowd. It's a theme hotel with paintings of knights and princesses on the walls and wooden lion heads on the doors. Great wood/artwork. The room was spacious and cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the evening shift. Breakfast was fresh.
The hotel was good for a cheap price, the receptionist (Yigithan) made a great effort to help us to collect the passports that we lost during our stay the day before in Cappadocia, I take advantage of the opportunity here to thank Yigithan for his kindness and invaluable assistance, he is a kind and helpful person and the hotel guests can trust and rely on him
Demora Hotel is a nice business-style hotel located near some of Ankara's best nightlife. The rooms are good-sized, clean and comfortable. The only downside is the mosque that blasts the call to prayer at 6 AM, but that's unavoidable in Turkey. Even with that one minor negative, I still recommend this hotel and will stay there again next time I'm in Ankara.
Hotel located in Ulus area and near Ulus Metro Station, also Airport has Havaş Airport Bus go to Ulus 19 Mayıs Stadium and you still can walk to hotel around 10 mins. Hotel is clean enough for normal stay. Environment is quiet. Staff can communicate with English and helpful for my enquiry. Breakfast is ok, near hotel have some restaurant.
We absolutely loved this room. It is a throwback to the old British Inns. The room was like a furniture display showpiece. The bathroom was just spectacular as well. The breakfast spread and outside breakfast view was a big thumbs up for me. This hotel is 5 stars in my books. You will not be disappointed booking at this hotel.
Our trip was planned for medical purposes. Even though the hotel was a bit far from Ankara airport, the location was very good, with many Turkish restaurants around and also close to one of Ankara's major hospitals. The staff was helpful and very kind.
A former caravanserai converted very tastefully into a lovely boutique hotel. The most excellent staff including Mr. Yiğit Sarıkaya who accommodated all our needs. The hotel was very clean and felt very premium. Attention was placed to every detail.
Conveniently located just a few minutes from the airport, this nearly new hotel was just right for an overnight stay between flights. Checked in late and checked out early, but the staff accommodated every need. Perfect airport, hotel for travelers.
During my journey through Turkey it was definitely the best hotel. For such a cheap price my room looked like a luxe. Breakfast was one of the best, i had every day room service, i was given free water and tea every day.
It’s a 3 star hotel, clean, 5 min drive from Ankara Airport, restaurant is available in the hotel,we stayed for 1 night, small room but all the facilities were there. Value for money. Far from city centre.
Location is excellent everything is walkable distance. Kizilay Mall is walking distance lots of Restaurants around the area. Metro stn just outside the hotel. Name is Demertepe of the station.
Location and not much else. The closeness of the property to the Ankara Esenboğa Airport was the only good thing about this hotel. It wasn't too dirty either. But that's it.
Hotel is well maintained for its age. Very friendly staff and covered parking available. Less than 25 mins drive to international airport. ///breakfast served was just ok
The location is Ideal.. you can take a bus from the Airport, it will drop you exactly next to the hotel.
It's clean, basic and affordable.. I would stay here again.
