I've traveled to Grand Junction numerous times over the years for bike events and for passing through on way to Moab, Utah. I've always liked Grand Junction. The central business area is great, love the bicycle art along the street.

Easy to find- looks like booking.com photos. Spacious, comfy bed. Enjoyed coffee at the table under the front yard tree. Country setting - goats in pasture were adorable. Close to town with plenty of restaurants.

Downtown Grand Junction had several breweries and restaurants that were dog friendly. We also visited several wineries which were 15-20 minutes from downtown GJ. Colorado National Monument was only 15-20 minutes away as well.
We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. We were in town for the Junior College World Series. The bed is comfortable, there is a "nook" with room to hang clothes, a nice sized small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee pot. This is a family run Motel. They are very friendly and work extremely hard at making sure your room is clean and fresh towels. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Grand Junction to go sight seeing and enjoy daily surrounding activities.
The room was clean and comfortable; we slept great! The lobby and other indoor areas were nice. My grandson enjoyed the gym. The area was great. The breakfast was good. The staff served hot meal items and others-pastries, fruit and such you helped yourself to. We don’t use daily housekeeping when we stay in hotels so I can’t comment on that. We did get clean towels everyday. The area was nice. Being so close, we walked downtown for our meals. We enjoyed our stay.
Such a great place to stay! Leta at the front desk was incredible and extremely warm and bubbly! She made me feel right at home as she even helped me pick out which snacks to eat at night as I'm too indecisive. lol The room was really clean and the breakfast was really good as well. Location was great as it right downtown, so very close to good bars and restaurants. We'll definitely be staying here if we ever pass through Grand Junction again.
we were pleasantly surprised with the facilities, staff and location for the price point of the room. Its no 5 star hotel but considering it was cheaper than the motel 6, we were a little worried. however, the we didn’t have any issues and the room comfortable besides the air conditioner not already running and taking a while for the room to cool off
The Charming and Cozy Downtown retreat was perfect for our family trip to Grand Junction. The property was super clean, spacious & had lots of details to accommodate our stay. Our Host Connie was quick to respond, & easy to communicate with. The property location is centered to nearby Main st, shops/restaurants, & close to CMU.
While the exterior was obviously a bit limited, they have made a huge effort on the interior of the room both in setup to maximize space/utility and maintenance had it spotless. Well done! And very friendly staff. All in all, about the best one coukd hope for in a very budget hotel. Very satisfied, thank you
very bad service, we arrived around dawn and when we were going to go to sleep we realized that the beds had blood, in addition they tried to charge me without my authorization, after I left the place they tried to deduct money from my card, be very careful with this very dirty hotel.
Close to Amtrak station, 2 min. to the free bus no. 1 to the airport, 10 min. walk to Enterprise car rental. And finally 20 min. by car to the beautiful canyon "Colorado National Monument". If you want to stay 5h after your check-out in the lobby - no problem for the staff!
The location was good for us, right between Palisade and downtown Grand Junction. There was a decent amount of grass outside for our doggo! The room was a decent size and was clean, and we felt safe which is always important in a city you’re unfamiliar with.
A little pricey compared to other super 8s I've stayed at but overall it a awesome hotel with awesome staff good comfortable beds with clean linen clean rooms good location not far from food and entertainment right off the highway my rating 8.7/10
The Grand Junction Palomino Inn was clean and very comfortable after a long day of travel. Conveniently located a few miles from friends and restaurants. We would definitely book again!
Decent little hotel near the airport. Staff were super friendly. Had pretty decent skincare stuff for a cheaper hotel. Great option if you're passing through
