Ever since a problem was encountered on Apollo 13, Houston has been an international household name. The 4th largest US city, it is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center where Mission Control is located. Of course, this is not its only claim to fame. This is Texas after all, where everything is big.
Houston’s Reliant Astrodome was the world’s first indoor sports stadium under a domed roof, and the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas. The city’s Livestock Show and Rodeo is the largest in the world, and the JP Morgan Chase Tower is the planet’s tallest 5-sided building. The list goes on.
Amid the skyscrapers of the thriving CBD is the Toyota Center, home of the city’s NBA and AHL teams. The theatre district is also in the downtown area, whereas the museum district is concentrated to the north-east of Hermann Park, home of a boating lake, nature reserve and miniature railway. Also here is Houston Zoo, and just west is Rice University, one of several in the city.
The bohemian Rice Village is popular with students, as are the city’s historic pubs and leafy parks. Houston also has no shortage of restaurants or accommodation options. Those on Booking.com include motels, apartments and hotels near George Bush Airport.

Checked in in the early morning hours of 3/13/2024. Booked through a 3rd party site and this was on my reservation. Even requested a crib for a small child. Initially the gentleman assisting stated that I would have to pay for an extra night due to the time I was checking in and advised that I could resolve the issue later with an owner of the hotel. He then advised that he would charge me the amount on my reservation. Unbeknownst to him, I had just had issues with the rental car company, had just flown in to Houston traveling with a 1 1/2 year old and was in what i consider home for a funeral of a sibling so it was already a challenged day. I was so appreciative that this did not become an issue as well. The clerk assisting was absolutely wonderful.

I was relieved to see Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialty. They offer a multitude of services for pets. The doctors and staff were sincerely concerned about my dog. They had a care plan in place as soon as he was triaged. I drove my 5 yr. old, Teuf almost 5 hours for assessment and treatment. They restored my confidence and hope for my boy's recovery. I went to do a procedure in the hospital district. This hotel is very close and the staff are friendly and accommodating. There are many places close by for food, and shopping as well as 2 grocery stores less than a 3 minute walk. Target 5 minute walk, this is a very convenient location. Also the rooms are very nice, beds so comfortable! You won't be disappointed

I love Houston Texas.
I love Houston Texas. It is a beautiful city and you will it enjoy it if you are going with family, out for business, or going for a grand time. There are wonderful places to dine in or you could grab a bite to eat on the go with packed favorites. There are locations here that you can fall in love like the first time each visit. Weather was great. Hotel was great in a greatl location not too far from the galleria. For this trip were the restaurants that were my favorite places to visit. The quiet of the room was great as well.

It is one of the best hostels anywhere. Always clean, good WiFi, comfortable beds, a kitchen and common areas. The dorms are spacious. The bus to downtown is one block away. Now that COVID travel restrictions have been lifted, there are travelers from all over the world again. I highly recommend this hostel for a memorable Houston travel experience.
