Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business...
Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business. It is close to one location my company operates. Also, close enough (just over an hour) to a major airport (Salt Lake City, Utah).
Depending on the time of year you can enjoy many outdoor activities.

Bathroom needs to be changed.
Bathroom needs to be changed. Stool was made for a kid, had hard time sitting down and then getting up. Not disability compliant I am sure. One lamp had a short in it, so unplugged it. Breakfast food was cold one morning out of two days that I ate there. Was clean and was good size, but bathroom sucked.

We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March.
We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March. It was excellent. The volunteers who helped with it were terrific! Some housed the musicians, Many helped from the admissions table to moving chairs to taking out trash. What a great group of people helped! The cost for the weekend was very reasonable. The food available for purchase, and the beer, were very good. The people we talked with were friendly and pleasant.

We decided to go see the train Round House in town.
We decided to go see the train Round House in town. It was super fun and interesting. We were able to walk all around the grounds and see the event centers. There are trains the kids can climb up on and see the controls. We were able to walk out on the train turn table, that was cool. Excellent place for photos! We did go on a Saturday and the Round House was closed to tour the inside of the building, but there was still plenty to see.
VERY nicely renovated property - a great physical space....lots of thought went into the recent renovation.
Also, a lovely, more than adequate breakfast, very much better than the average US chain highway/motorway hotel.
Great location - especially as we wanted to have dinner at "Bon Rico", one of those gems/restaurants in small town USA where the food is marvelous, the service proper, the prices fair, etc. It was just down the hill, a 5 minute drive from the hotel.
I skipped the breakfast, as I try not to eat processed food so nothing to rate there. Brinley, the swing shift front desk person was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is fairly new, so it is quite clean. The pool and the hot tub were great after a day of driving. The location, right off the freeway is super convenient and there are three or four places to eat within walking distance. I hit legal tender because I wanted a walk. It was definitely just ok.
Every thing is clean. All rooms are on ground floor. The hot breakfast is served in the restaurant on the property and was good. Absolutely every employee we came in contact with were very friendly, went out of their way to take care of you and make you feel welcome. The restaurant had delicious food. we ate dinner both nights and the food was excellent and large portions. If I ever return to Evanston I would definitely stay here!!
The room was very spacious. The location of the hotel was very quiet. There is a diner across the street that’s suppose to be good. We didn’t try it. You need to preorder to use the drive throughout at the diner.
We stayed here for one night and we glad we chose this hotel. Rooms were big and clean, really comfortable mattresses and pillows. Easy to find and too close from freeway . Would stay here again.
Easy checkin, easy to locate. What I didn't like was no real breakfast. Breakfast that is offered is a granola bar, juice & coffee. Very lack luster, even for this hotel chain.
Breakfast was very good for this type of meal at a hotel.
Hotel was old and the heating system was really poor. Loud and it was located right at the side of the bed.
