The historic motel was very charming and in a beautiful location across from the river that had walking paths and parks. There was a quiet and pretty sitting area behind the motel with a large grass lawn and chairs. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The basic continental breakfast was nice and very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Amazing place, great location both in the start to the mountains but only 10 mins to Boulder. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodges all seem to be in one level with parking in front then straight on to a small river with some seating areas on a small amount of grass which was a great place to chill or eat outside. Also a barbecue was set up if you wanted it. Hot tub was great. The location was perfect for me to access the trails locally, had a great time at the lodge and would definitely stay again if in the area.
