Great location. Hotel is clean and modern. Lobby area was pleasant and nicely decorated. Takeaway snacks and beverages available in the lobby as is the small cafe and bar, which served up some delicious snacks. Fire pit and chairs behind the hotel looked very inviting, but is was raining the night of our stay, so we did not partake. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, even making phone calls to find out specific information about our trip to RMNP. An overall very pleasant experience.

I appreciated how responsive the staff was, both before we arrived and when we needed some help navigating the space. As a disabled person, it was really nice to be guided regarding adjustments I may need to make based on the structure and design of the property. I loved that there were movies to borrow too. I saw a movie I'd never seen before and really enjoyed the experience with my partner. It was also cool that the property was very quiet so falling and staying asleep was quite easy.

There was a lot of construction going on in downtown Estes Park. The trip through the park was lovely until the weekend when multiple multiple multiple tourists showed up causing vehicle backups thru the park. We went earlier in the week and it was a wonderful trip because we could go and come as we wished without undue backups. Parts of the park were closed because of snow. The downtown of Estes Park was very busy and the construction hindered things. We ate at Mama Rose restaurant and it was delicious! I took a horseback ride thru the mountains and it was beyond fantastic. Nice horse, good guide!

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather...
My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.
We spontaneously stayed at Hotel Estes for 1 night and we really had a wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly, our pet friendly room was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. Very comfortable beds! The free continental breakfast is pretty nice and includes coffee, tee, juice, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, bread, danish, joghurt, fruit and hardboiled eggs. We were pleasantly surprised. The location is in walking distance to city center, if you don't mind walking a few minutes. There is a lovely walkway by the lake.
It was our first time in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, and we made this hotel our basecamp which was the best decision. The location is perfect, not far from the busy areas but still won't miss the action. Our room was big and comfortable and all facilities were in good shape. The staff at the front desk was always helpful, gave us very nice recommendations in what to do. Thank you for making our experience memorable!
The property was lovely and well kept, location was perfect for what my daughter and I had planned while staying in Estes Park. Loved the designated parking in front of our cabin, being on the river and our cabin was stocked well with everything we needed. Check out during Covid was a no person contact communication which was very easy to use. Our overall experience was a joy and we would love to come back.
Location was ideal. Less than 2 miles on the entrance road to Rocky Mountain National Park. Minutes from downtown Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. On the side of Deer Mountain with incredible views of the mountain and into the valley of downtown. Phenomenal location and picturesque view. Just ideal. Also very large home with plenty of space to spread your family out.
The room was a perfect size, larger than the room we had at the Ridgeline Hotel where we had to stay for wedding. Will definitely come back here again. The breakfast was great as well, which was not offered at Ridgeline hotel. I would give this 6 stars if possible. We both loved this place. Really liked just parking right where we stayed and unpacked in minutes.
Fantastic stay at Blue Doors Inn, especially to Jeremy for giving us amazing recommendations for food, gear rentals, hikes to try at RMNP, and even more recommendations for other parts of our trip to Colorado Springs and Denver. Room was clean and comfortable, and the service was absolutely top notch. Definitely will recommend others to stay here. Thanks again!!
Hotel Estes provided our group with a large, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and expert customer service. Enrique, in particular, was always available to answer our every question and provide us with great recommendations for Rocky Mountain National Park and around Estes Park. Would definitely come to stay again in the near future!!!
It was quiet and quaint, and such a pleasure to stay at! Todd was an excellent host, and he made the experience more welcoming. We loved the room and the service that was offered and even showed us the best ways to get around estes park and how to do the activities we had planned.
Loved the location - close to Downtown Estes Park, could see and hear the river from the balcony, saw multiple elk on the property. Staff was super friendly and you can rent movies and games which was a plus. It was also nice to get breakfast before heading into the park.
Super clean and amazing staff! Room was super clean. Managers are heads above the rest! I wish this place was everywhere. Best stay I've had in Colorado. I can't get over how accommodating this is. So informative. Made me excited to be here in Estes. And very affordable.
Lovely one-room cabin in a quiet area of Estes Park. The hosts are super helpful and friendly, the bed is very comfortable and it was great to have a soak in the jacuzzi after hiking! Loved watching elk and hummingbirds right outside the cabin!! Hope to be back soon!!
We stay at the Maxwell every time we visit Estes - it's exceptional value for its location and comfort. It's family run and they're always very pleasant. Just an all around good choice if you're travelling to Estes Park.
The accommodation is located at the edge of Estes Park, CO, a short drive from Rocky Mountain National Park, and has a nice view of the nearby mountains which I really enjoyed.
The house was clean, there was plenty of space, and it was located close to anything we wanted to do in and around Estes Park. The staff were so friendly and welcoming!
I didn't eat at the hotel. The location was very convenient to downtown Estes Park and RMNP and various food venues. My bed was comfortable, the TV worked well.
