The availability of a pool and hot tub was nice. Albeit, they were both very old. The furniture in the pool area was really nice! The location was great. They are doing Reno’s to the lobbby and it’s going to look spectacular.

The location was great to go into town and RMNP. It was so relaxing to sit outside next to the river after a long day of hiking. We even had an elk come up and hang out on the river one night. Room had everything we needed and felt like home. Our quick weekend getaway was able to give us the recharge we needed. Definitely plan to return!

Trailborn Rocky Mountains, hotel in Estes Park

Trailborn Rocky Mountains Upscale hotel revitalized in 2023 and located near Rocky Mountain National Park A grocery/convenience store, a terrace, and a firepit are just a few of the amenities provided...

Such a nice place to stay while in the Rockies! We looked at a bunch of other places in the area on Booking.com and glad we chose this one. Trailborn definitely has a fresh and fun vibe, and is really well maintained. Rooms were warm, and the marketplace had a bunch of local products we used during our stay. Hotel staff was warm and friendly, rooms were great and well appointed, we loved the giant fire in the back patio! Front desk was helpful in booking a small trip into the park and recommending local restaurants in the area. On our last day we were delighted to see Elk walking down just by the parking lot across town!

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather...

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

Estes Park is a great little town with quick easy access to the RMNP area wildlife, views and hiking trails. Estes has a cute downtown area with plenty of shops and places to eat. (I highly recommend You Need Pie!) I have visited during different seasons, which are all great, but this was our first Christmas and it was truly amazing and will be back for another Christmas!

Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky Mountain National Park, RMNP, in north central Colorado. It is in a stunning location. The downtown is quite touristy and in the summer, parking is difficult but doable. Estes Park is a destination in itself but surrounded by a larger destination- RMNP. In one day we saw mountain goats, deer and a herd of elk. The elk winter in Estes Park itself. The animals are magnificent but also a bit troublesome for the residents. But what a problem to have.

We stayed in 10A which was absolutely wonderful. We were immediately impressed with the layout, decor, and cleanliness. We also appreciated the clear guest information/directions on the welcome paper, the cute map of the entire property, and the binder full of helpful info. (My wife thinks the owner must have been a teacher- she can spot her own kind.) Peace and comfort would best describe this lovely little place. If we ever visit Estes Park again, we will definitely return here.

We had to book a room last minute and were glad to find one available at the Quality Inn because all of Estes Park was practically booked. The hotel was located close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was perfect since we had to get up early the next morning. The staff was super friendly and we had a great view of the trees and mountains. The hotel had a nice, homey feel to it which we loved and the bed was awesome! The free breakfast was convenient and good.

You get so much more than a room with a bed. They have a huge hot-tub and pool. The rooms are big, clean and quite. There is complimentary popcorn, you can borrow a movie. We used the hotel as a great place to drive to Rocky Mountains every day but if you have kids you’ll love this place. There are outdoor games, boardgames. Great location if you want to hang out in Estes Park or drive to Rocky Mountains NP. Highly attentive staff! Overall great experience

Pam and Charles are wonderful hosts! We enjoyed visiting with them around the fire pit making s’mores. The cabin was clean and the attention to details stood out… extra heated towels, great little kitchen was perfect for our needs… peaceful setting, nature and wildlife, close to downtown Estes Park, and to many great restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails. Pam gave us the inside local info on best places to go! We will be back.

Good location for The Egg breakfast place. Truck delivery (tractor-trailer) kept pulling up and then backing up constantly to the hotel with headlights on at 4 AM in the morning to adjust his trailer so he didn't have far to walk to make his delivery with the handtruck. This went on for about 10 minutes. Good location for walking to a lot of shops in Estes Park. Very short drive to Rocky Mtn Natl Park. Very clean.

The location was perfect. We love Estes Park and visit there often. We always enjoy staying on Fall River where this property is located. It is a beautiful property where wildlife roam, outside of the main town. A very peaceful setting. This is not a hotel/motel, it is individual cabins, so one has to enjoy the cabin feel, which we do.

The proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and the charming town of Estes Park is great! The very best part of our stay was observing the astounding elk herds right in town, and right outside the hotel. We were awakened at midnight by a bull elk bellowing right outside our private deck--fantastic!!
