The free breakfast was really good and the reason we chose this hotel. I wish there were fruit options other than apples and oranges. The room was clean and the location was a convenient halfway point to our destination. My kids LOVED the arcade.

We had to ask for coffee to be put out and maple syrup. Choices were few. No fruit or anything healthy.

We checked in late in evening and were greeted by Manager Mary who treated us like family and made us feel so welcomed and valued. Her first impression had us extend our stay an additional night on the spot! Would recommend this hotel and staff to all friends and family. My wife accidentally dropped an important item in hallway one morning, staff found it and saved it for us at front desk, and we're so grateful for their care/concern for this act, could have been a negative game changer for our vacation, but their staff had guest's happiness/comfort at the top of their list. Exceptional staff and accommodations!

Danbury has some hidden treasures that we heavenly partially explored. There are some good quality restaurants, we especially enjoyed Craft Kitchen and Bar on the west side of town. (Good food prepared by a skilled chef and attentive waitstaff. There is an abundance of cultural foods available (such as Brazilian!) that are made fresh and taste wonderful.

Hot water handle fell off in my hands. Window.
Hot water handle fell off in my hands. Window. Curtain wand broke off hen pulled. No separate soap dish. Tissue box cheap cardboard. Turned off air conditioner because it blew too forcefully onto b d which was only a foot away from the bed. Terribly decorated in dark morbid colors. Not overly clean carpets. Dirty hallway carpeting.

Only stopped for the night, on a trip frm Maine to North Carolina, so can't comment on the town much
We did get take-out from the middle eastern restaurant right next door, called Kibberia, and it was EXCELLENT. Online menu is descriptive and easy to use. Food was delicious and generous.

I WAS RAISED IN DANBURY, AND I LOVE DANBURY, THERE IS SO...
I WAS RAISED IN DANBURY, AND I LOVE DANBURY, THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO BESIDES EVERY STORE YOU CAN IMAGINE. THE DANBURY FAIR MALL WAS THE GREAT DANBUEY FAIR- FOR YEARS AND YEARS, WHEN I WAS OLD ENOUGH I WORKED THE FAIR, STOCK CAR RACING SATURDAY NIGHTS, I WAS SO SAD WHEN IT WAS SOLD FOR THE MALL, BUT THE MALL IS HUGE, I LOVE GOING THERE, MAIN STREET USE TO BE DECORATED FOR NTHE HOLIDAYS, I USE TO WALK TO THE TOWN PARK FOR SWIMMING, AND THE ROLLER SKATING RINK WAS NEXT TO THE TOWN PARK, GO TO THE PARK YOU'LL LOVE IT, I USE TO WALK TO CHURCH ST. JOESPHS ON MAIN STREET, JUST TAKE A DRIVE
Front staff member Edith is absolutely outstanding. Just to see her lovely face again would be enough to make me want to book there again. The hotel nicely fulfills expectations for room temperature, bed comfort, cleanliness, good breakfast, parking, etc. But Edith takes it way over the top!
Booked the Danbury location by accident. I usually make it a two day trip to Massachusetts. I usually stay at Waterbury and I didn't stop to realize that I should have focused on the name of the city. Besides bad traffic and crazy Conn. drivers, there are too many "burys" in that state.
The lobby was very nice. The rooms were small and there was a humming noise all night. The room we were in was an upgrade to a suite (by the hotel) and was two small rooms with no window in the bedroom. The breakfast was only cold bagels juice and coffee.
We're generally stay in danbury as the halfway point between our home and Washington dc. This is the first time we've stayed here. Although not fancy, it was a very comfortable place to put our heads after a long drive.
Beautiful hotel. Lacking amenities for the price. They should bring back breakfast at the very least for their guests. Not much else to offer other then that and a chic environment.
One of the nicest hotel rooms I've been in. We loved the set up and the beds and sofa bed were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
