We showed up late and the gal in the office was spectacularly wonderful! I believe her name was Alex. She was by far the best person ever to be at the hotel desk, check in etc. she gave us our room card, we went all the way up to the second floor for the cards to not work. We brought them back, and she was so funny! She got the cards to work for the second time.

We loved the location. Nice quiet street. Close to what we wanted to do. The day bed was very comfortable. Plenty of pillows & blankets. The kitchen was stocked well. We liked being able to make ice for our cooler. Was nice to have a shower head with a hose. Good water pressure, too. Plenty of towels. Very clean & neat. Hosts were wonderful! Would definitely recommend staying here for a couple.

It was better than sleeping in the airport. It was cheaper than a fancy hotel in an expensive city.

Great staff and location. Prompt airport shuttle. Fairly pricey for weeknights and/or multi-night stays.
Keep away this is a really shady place. The beds smell like sweat and butt. There was blood on the carpet in the room. Some really shady people staying a few rooms down from me. This looks like a couple's or junkies motel. Do not bring your family here.

I will never go back. The room was dirty and it smelled. Many things were broken. The smoke detector went off at 3:00 am and never stopped. We got no sleep. There was no staff working after 11:00 pm. A phone number was at front desk but our room phone was broken so we had to deal with the alarm for HOURS. I will never go back and I will tell everyone about this awful experience.

Shelburne has many options for visitors including the Shelburne Museum, Burlington culture and Lake Champlain. And getting around is easy with good bike paths.
Our dining options included Sherpa kitchen Himalayan , Chef Leu Chinese , and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory.

I was only here to sleep.
I was only here to sleep. Shelburne has some lovely aspects. But I was only here to sleep, as I needed to be in Burlington. So, this review is, largely, irrelevant for someone here to enjoy Shelburne.

Shelburne Museum was a great experience!
Shelburne Museum was a great experience! The collections are amazing. We enjoyed the gardens and the tours of the Ticonderoga and the Prentiss and stencil houses.
Pauline's Restaurant had delicious food and a friendly staff.
Overall the hotel looks pretty run down but our room was in decent shape, and the beds were comfy (plus queen sized as opposed to full at most hotels). The pool are was really nice and looked liked it had just been redone. As with many hotels they were short staffed which meant they didn’t provide stay-over service which was not a big deal except it didn’t seem reflected in the price- still seemed pricey considering that. Breakfast provided included hot stuff but was sparse for selection and quantity.
The staff was amazing! Apparently there was a glitch between booking.com and the hotels computer and the hotel was oversold. The front desk clerk went above and beyond to find me a room. I believe, he actually went and cleaned a room for me so that I could stay. First class customer service all the way! Property itself is in need of an update I don’t Reno as you can tell things are worn and dated. But I would stay here again just because of that front counter person
Overpriced bottom of the pit. This hotel is run down and dirt. The bathroom door was damaged as if someone punched or kicked it . For 690.00 for two nights the accommodations should have definitely been better. Would not recommend or will we return. This room rate should $100.00 a night at best.
vending machine in main lobby not working. room smelled like B.O. and cigarettes. cable was not hooked to tv had to do it myself a/c didn't cool room and was full of dirt. no availability from hotels/motels in the area so we had no choice but to stay.
Staff but basically price gouging. The only think ok was the staff. But the hotel is awful. Smelly, broken furniture, so dated and so expensive. Unfortunately, the other hotels were also price gouging and this was the better option regarding cost.
We came in very late (2 am) & the person who checked us in brought a cot bed and blankets up and even made the bed up for us. Friendly & helpful staff, very clean rooms and pool area. We enjoyed our stay.
Nothing it was the worst experience at hotel. I am still waiting to hear back from the manager for a full refund. Dirty rooms and people that played hip hop music till 3 am.
