Right on the beach! They had fires going in the fire pits overlooking the beach (it was too cold, so we didn’t go down there, but could watch from our room). Walked on the beach in the morning and it was wonderful. The room was comfortable and the staff was really helpful.

Honestly, everything was amazing as always. The guests were a little rowdy next to us. But that's not really the hotel's issue. I've been there for other times and never had a problem. So overall. I will be coming back here again next time.

Depo bay is right on the ocean.
Depo bay is right on the ocean. It has great little shops to browse .Depoe bay has lots of on street parking .You can go fishing and whale watching and come back and have a nice dinner in one of the restaurants.Colleen - 10Scored 10

Depoe Bay is an amazing little town - great view of the ocean and just watching the whales in the bay is mesmerizing! If you get a chance, go on a fishing trip or whale watching with Dockside Charters - they are great people to work with! Had a good meal at The Sea Hag with friendly wait staff, and picked up some caramel corn at a little shop just across from the bay. Look forward to my return trip next year!Nickell - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nearby beaches are great for hiking, especially Beverley Beach. Tidal Raves restaurant is great. We saw a number of whales and lots of boat activity. All the shops are full of touristy junk - didn't see much quality stuff, although we didn't spend a lot of time shopping.

The location is right in town within walking distance to beach, restaurants, and shops. The ocean is right across the street. We ate at the Sea Hag for breakfast. Wide sidewalk made walking to the harbor and whale watching center safe and easy. Nearby gas station. The fireplace made the room toasty warm. The bathroom and bed were very clean.

The location in Depoe Bay is a good one, halfway between Newport and Lincoln City. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and both bathrooms were nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table was a good size. This place is definitely a good value compared with prices for similar units. The hotel is located close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. The room had a microwave and a small fridge together with a coffee machine but no utensils. We didn't try the pool. There is an easy access to the beach, and at the reception you can find the tides schedule for the season.

Depoe Bay has always been a favorite stretch on the Oregon Coast. I've stayed at Trollers Lodge several times. I can't think of a better place for me.
