There was nothing great. You could not even have a peaceful meal without merchants approaching your table trying to sell you Their merchandise. Most of the taxi drivers take the scenic route to your destination so they can charge you more and think that I do not know the area. This is the only country I have been to so far where the cars and motorcycles drive and park on the sidewalks and if you were in the way, they will hit you. Unbelievable that motorcycles have more value than people. It says my second trip, but it is changed my opinion about this CDplace at one point I thought I would buy Property here but now I don’t think I will ever come back or recommend two friends.

Firstly, I wasn’t well when friends and I stayed. E Vung out. For a vining local areas and sights by taxi. Buddha, fishing village, front beach, back beach, markets etc.
We thought It is a local beachside town with not much to offer international tourists. There are a lot of expats living there from the war. Very laid back lifestyle, general service was ok, not much English spoken. Wouldn’t go there again.

I loved the location and the beaches.
I loved the location and the beaches. Naturally the Vietnamese were very kind and helpful as always making the vacation very comfortable. I am not into the dancing and nightlife but that said there are many fine restaurants and places to meet people. Getting around was very simple as long as you knew and understood the local currency, taxi were clean and well maintained and the drivers will go out of their way to assist you if asked. It is too bad that it is such a long way from Saigon. They should put in a light rail system and make Vung Tao a prime destination.

You only need 2 days 1 night in vung tau. from ho Chi Minh only 2.5 hours per way to vung tau. Cheap and fresh seafood. Most crowded beach in Vietnam back beach. Front beach to see ship stop by. Cheap massage. Jesus mountain, whale temple, cable car, bao dai palace, lighthouse are the scenery must view in vung tau. Can buy cake before go back. Futa bus station vung tau got plenty of choices VIP limousine, VIP bus and etc. can ask and try compare few only decide. Futa limousine or bus not best choice. A bit hot weather. Seaside got monument can take photo. C.Thien Nienh is best restaurant give cheap, fresh seafood. Got many choices of convenient shop. Opposite the whale temple got seafood noodle quite nice and cheap and fresh. Take grab bike is good to go. The public open air car charge 40.000vnd per 2km. Grab bike only 18.000 to 28.000vnd. Jesus mountain stair got 910+- steps but easy to go up because stairs not big high. Can climb up Jesus inside and view panoramic of whole vung tau city. Is not as crowded like ho Chi Minh City. More relaxing with breezy wind blow.

Nice place , most of the nightlife and bars were round at front beach , back beach very quiet at night apart from hotels . Would advise getting a scooter as from back beach to front is a fair walk --loads of lovely seafood restaurants including David's Italian restaurant which we ate at many times and was amazing.
Everything, was a 10 min walk to the main part of town, room was great, upgraded to a suite, breakfast was delicious with a few things to choose from and you could either sit outside or they bought it to your room freshly cooked. They had a hotel shuttle that took you to where you wanted to go. They gave you a mobile phone so you could call the hotel and get the shuttle to pick you up. Great idea 💡. Pool was awesome and the water cold. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Best hotel we've stayed in vietnam.
A nice small hotel facing a relatively quiet street of Vung Tau. Everything is close at hand. There’s a shop downstairs, a 2 min walk to the nearest massage shop and plenty of cafes and bars around. The first room we checked in had water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom, so we had to go back to the reception and ask for another one. The other one was fine though: quite clean, spacious and had a little balcony.
the room was huge compared to other places we had stayed at in Vietnam and had a little kitchenette. Very very spacious and wonderful environment, Can see the sea from the room balcony. there is a little hillock close by which one can walk to to see the sunrise . The statue of Jesus and the light house are visible from there.
Very chilled out and calm place with some of the top hotels in the vicinity.
I stayed at The Sóng Vũng Tàu for a business trip and was really impressed with the quality of service here. The apartment was very comfortable and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I also liked the surrounding area as it was close to the beach and had many good restaurants. I will definitely come back here when I have the chance

Nice location easy access to Vung Tau beach and restaurants. Interesting building and rooms. Pool is lovely. Traditional Vietnamese food was nice.. Staff all excellent always welcoming helpful and polite. On site scooter to hire was nice. Always felt welcome. Rooms very clean. Air conditioning, TV and internet all excellent.
The location was exceptionally convenient with a 5 minute walk from the beach along with multiple stores and markets. The rooms as well as the facilities exceeded any expectations. The staff were friendly and very supportive. This place will definitely be in my top 3 properties to book in Vung Tau.
Breakfast was not included, not an option. Great value! Very clean. My room had a kitchen, microwave, fridge, fan, and a firm, large bed. Very comfortable and the staff is there to please. Front Yard beach, by the ritzy hotels like Ibis, is the place to be for the South China Sea.
I think this is the most convenient hotel in Vung Tau because they close to the night market and they have the bridge connect the hotel to the sea. So, we don’t need to walk across the road. We’ve been here two times, we like this hotel.
This is a relatively cheap option for staying in Vung Tau. The location means that hiring a scooter is a good idea - easy to do from the hotel. The breakfast was forgettable, but the room was fine; definitely value for money.
The staff was very friendly and helpful for fixing the room. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The hotel is located near the beach and convenient stores.
