Da Nang is a lot less hectic than Hoi chi Minh. Cleaner and more up market. A lot easier walking around due to better footpaths and less traffic. Mrs Lan's restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Fantastic - it's where all the locals eat. Very clean and value for money.

A unique city and not as crowded as Hanoi and HCMC. Easy to get by and airport is only 10 mins to Han river. Good Pho noodles and Vietnamese chicken rice. Hoi An is a must. Best be there by 6 pm to do the night walk.

It is a fairly large modern cosmopolitan town that is friendly to tourists and foreigners. There is a large beach area, it is quite windy at the beach front. The choice of restaurants a few streets in from the beach area is very good. There are also a number of massage parlours offering more than just a massage in this area. Da Nang can be noisy especially during the holiday season. There are also many motorbike drivers who will try to offer you a lift and then charge your over the top prices. Resorts are your way to go! i advice staying in any 5 star resort as they are all well situated and are beautiful. make time to visit the night market (practice your bargaining skills prioir) make sure to visit the golden bridge ( HEAD THERE EARLY ) as too many tourists visit the same spot download Grab as its much cheaper to move around rather than using hotel bookings and pretty safe.AhmedUnited Arab Emirates - Scored 1010

Danang is my favorite city in southeast Asia. The beach is fantastic. There is so much good food, drinks, and entertainment, all at an extremely affordable price. Grab was my go-to transportation mode. Don’t be afraid to try small Vietnamese restaurants and roadside stands for fantastic and reasonably-priced local food, like banh mi, mi quang, and bo ne. More foreigner-oriented, but only slightly more expensive are Dirty Fingers, Maia (on the beach), Section 30, The Craftsman, and The Filling Station. There are so many great bands, but don’t miss The Hat Jazz Band (jazz, blues, rock), The Steins (rock, blues), and Looney Tunes (ska).LenThailand - Scored 8.08.0

My first visit to Vietnam but I liked it, the main roads are very busy most of the time, crossing the road is like many places in SE Asia, wait for a space and keep walking and people will go around you, most of the people I saw seemed friendly like most of Asia. No big shops like FamilyMart or 7/11 to get general drinks and snacks but many small family shops to seek out as not many signs have english, but most items in teh shops do have prices on so you know your not getting charged extra which is good. The Dragon Bridge is worth a visit and it look great at night, I did hope to see the beach but it rained too much to go, overall I liked the trip and will likely go to Da Nang againandrewUnited Kingdom
