The attractions are a must. The cable car and Vin world are brilliant. We booked from Liby travel and I would recommend her. Grand world is also very good. Any public bus is free , we used number 17 bus which took us to Grand world and back approximately 45 minutes each way. Find a location by the beach or nearby, book only a few days before you arrive. When you arrive negotiate the price for longer stay, by offering an advanced payment in cash you could get a much better cost rather than paying per day. If you want secluded, romantic or relaxing holidays then you are in the right place, otherwise go somewhere else. Don't expect much in terms of communication and hospitality from the locals, all they really care is your money, you will realize it when they have nothing to gain from you.

A lovely island for a honeymoon, the choice of resorts is amazing. The town itself not so sure about, a bit tacky party place from what we could see. The plastic pollution is really visible in some parts of the beach though.

Phu Quoc is not quite as well know as some of the other places to visit in Vietnam but please put in on your destinations. Its the perfect place to end with resorts, theme parks, water parks and a growing tourist destination. It was the perfect end to our 21 days in Vietnam. We will go back just to experience the snorkelling, beach side bars and the parts of the Island we didn't get time to visit. Highly recommend!Steph CAustralia - 8.0Scored 8.0

Only about 15–20 minutes walk to the night market and city center Duong Dong. The sea view from my deluxe balcony room on the 8th floor was impressive. The room equipment was very good value for money. Towards the end of my 5 day stay I had an accident with a rented motorbike. The friendly and very helpful hotel staff gave me the very best help in this emergency situation. Thank you so much for this support.

Great beachfront location, with sun beds and chairs to relax on both around the pool and on the beach. Large pool overlooking the beach. Moderate distance walk to the night markets etc. Able to hire motorbike from hotel for cheap price. Very cute dog on the properly and puppy which we loved playing with! Staff had basic English but we managed to get by with google translate assistance at times.

No supermarket, shops, cafes - nothing! A dirt road leads from the highway to the hotel. You can call a taxi and go to the city, but it's quite far. The beach is wonderful! Long, you can walk on it, clean, only sand. There are several hotels on it, in my opinion this one is the most pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is close to Ong Long beach which in my opinion is one of the very best beaches on the island (much better than any near the centre or down south). Sunsets here were incredible. Lots of restaurants nearby, some atm’s and a couple of mini marts.
