The hotel was perfect, the pool area and food was great. It was also very clean, the housekeepers were incredibly friendly and so were all the staff I met. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they visit platanias.

The apartments are very nice and coasy with big terraces. They are located really close to the center of Platanias, but still right on the beach! Jenny was very helpful with everything!

We returned from staying in the Marika hotel last week. Firstly it lovely and clean. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are modern and spacious. Its in an excellent location on the seafront & also surrounded by restaurants, shops, doctors, car hires, bus stops etc! We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet had a good variety including cereals, breads, eggs, meat, fruits, spreads, cakes. Not as lavish as other hotel breakfasts but there was something for everyone and it was nice to have something to set us up for the day.

Right on Platanias Beach, Villa Giorgos is set amid a garden with an outdoor pool. It features self-catered accommodations with pool or side Cretan Sea views.

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Kallitsakis. The staff were very helpful; our room was lovely with everything needed to enjoy our stay. I swam twice in the pool which was nice to cool off and relaxed in the chairs.  It’s very close to the beach and the main strip.  We ate breakfast at their associated cafe which was excellent!

The apartment had everything we needed, it was clean and close to the center. The owners are very nice and they have a cute dog. If we come back to Crete we will stay here again.

It was right on the beach as advertised, nice pools and balcony, good breakfast buffet, good service and helpful staff, well located for exploring western crete. It's the kind of place that checks all the boxes for a beachfront resort but each element is just okay, fine, good enough. They upgraded us to all inclusive for our last day, which was generous of them, and fun for our kids.
