This was a very cute motel that had clearly just had a remodel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast, even though it was similar to most hotels, was really delicious. They had a quiche every day that was great. The pool was exactly what I would want from a place like this. We were there for Stagecoach, so being at the hotel wasn't the main concern. It looked like they were also expanding to add a diner in the back. I liked the check in which was a Airstream trailer. They had security at all times. So felt very safe.

PS has improved since my last visit, COVID is in the rearview mirror and the town is alive again! The homeless situation is very much improved! The Zoo is a must-see as well as the Air Museum! Don't forget to visit the reservation for some great hikes and hopeful big-horn sheep sitings! And don't forget the tram!

Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass...
Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass market tourist town, with 2 major, long streets that include many big & small shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, & a 3rd side street that also has some of same but is more run-down & busy with 'drive-thru' local traffic & many condo complexes, some of which look somewhat 'run-down'.
Still, PS is luckily located right below a moderatly high series of desert mtn peaks which makes for a 'different', scenic Backdrop. While there could be even more semi-tropical Flowering plants placed downtown, there are certain areas where they stand out, making for some incredible visit-Pics. Other than a Casino& hotel complex a block or two away from downtown, the rest of PS seems old & run-down, but, now old desert towns tend to look that way.
Also, there are some other interesting, and even more upscale/modern towns just 4-5 miles south along Palm Canyon Dr. (or hwy 111), that are worth visiting or staying in (though usually at higher cost).

Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel.
Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel. Very clean. Alex takes care of everything from checkin to maintenance. Very efficient. Appreciated pet policy being that it is such a small common space. Place could use new towels and linens. However the size of the bungalos made up for it. Really enjoyed our stay and would def consider staying again.

We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties...
We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties there, but after our stay in the (glorious) Ricardo Suite at the Velvet Rope we have a vacation home to return to from now on. David Rios who designed all the suites and was our host, plus Kevin and Jeffery were as warm and accommodating as can be! We were delighted with every aspect of the hotel (touring many other suites there was also a visual treat), terrific pool deck, and we look forward to our return!!
its a small intimate Hotel , in the Warm Sands part of Palm Springs , so easy walking to everything or a few min driving to Downtown PS . The guys Colin and Jesse , are great easygoing Hosts , The vibe is intimate , cozy and clean , a great place for a romantic couples get away , or even just if you wanted to have some me time , and lay around the pool and chill . Really a nice stay !

It is a great decently priced option in Palm Springs with a fun retro vibe! The location is great and the free cruiser bikes on site make it really easy to explore the other parts of downtown. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well both days. The pool area - complete with friendly hummingbirds was a delight. We also enjoyed Monday night Bingo at the Ace hotel across the street.
The hotel makes a decent first impression when you first step in as a mid priced boutique Palm Springs hotel. Staff were pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is nice and landscaping pleasant also. The price was reasonable for Palm Springs but still above what you would pay for a 1 or 2 star hotel. So we weren't expecting luxury. Just a solid and comfortable hotel.
I am in love with this boutique hotel. Had my first days off for a long time and wanted to escape LA weather. The large pool, luxury bungalow and lots of space made me feel like home in Palm Springs. Very clean and stylish relaxing resort. Super sweet staff. And I loved the mini-golf course next to the pool and stargazing in the Jacuzzi. Even had a private kitchen!
Nice and comfy hotel with large pool and hot tube, beach towels also included. Ideal for a couple of days on a road trip. The downtown is 5 min by car. Options for breakfast and dinner in the neighbourhood. Nice and friendly staff. Reasonable price compared to other hotels in Palm Springs.
The hotel is in a great location. Near downtown Palm Springs but not too close, which is good to avoid noise and traffic. The place is well kept, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. It has a nice pool and a jacuzzi. Parking is easy and convenient. The place was very quiet.
The location is near downtown Palm Springs yet more peaceful location on the south end of town. The double beds met my needs. The decor of the room was simple yet accommodating without stupid trendy needless decorations that some hotels feel justification to bump up the price.
it was pretty cramped but cleverly laid out. inevitable I guess when staying in Palm Springs. not cheap but it did what it was supposed to . our room was big with all the facilities. the air conditioning was essential as the outside temp were in the high 90s.
super cute and affordable stay in Palm Springs. perfect for our girls’ trip. Quiet and the staff was great. it’s a humble hotel and not fancy but that’s just what we wanted. close to everything and breakfast was at a nearby restaurant. Super causal and cute.
Quaint boutique hotel well located near downtown Palm Springs. The staff and hotel service were excellent, especially Blanda! The beautifully designed courtyard, pool and hot tub were an oasis to look forward to after a busy day of activities.
so far it’s the best hotel we’ve visited in Palm Springs.
it’s for those who doesn’t like big loud crowded hotels. super cozy, great pool and amazing vibe.
I don’t know how they do it))
The hotel has a pool.
One out of two ice machines worked.
The location is not far from downtown Palm Springs.
The weather happened to be just right
Elmer's restaurant is nearby
Comfy bed and nice, non-carpeted floors made it feel cleaner than other budget hotels. Easy couple blocks stroll to the main road through downtown Palm Springs.
it had a good location in Palm Springs with off road parking. The design of the hotel has a likeable quirkiness. the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
