The beach was long and plentiful.
The beach was long and plentiful. A fine shingle with a gentle slope into the sea. It was almost empty when we were there in peak season. The parking was free. Unfortunately, It was very windy when we were there so all boat trips were cancelled. Which was a shame because the coastline is best viewed from the sea. However the gentle slope of the beach sheltered us enough from the wind for a relaxing sunbathe. The restaurants were busy. So do some research and plan ahead and book in the morning for the night otherwise you might be walking around for a while queuing and waiting whilst you are hungry.

More rugged than the North, but with the most beautiful beaches and nature in the area. If I return to Sardinia I will spend all my time in the area of Orosei. The city itself is small but have nice restaurants.

Pretty village. Very pleasant to live in. Good traders. Interesting historical center to travel. Very close to the mountain and the sea. On the other hand, park outside on the car parks. Very complicated in the center but being very small it is easy to do on foo

Orosei has quite some things to offer. The marina with the nice, sandy beaches, the beach bars and nice hotels (Anticos Palathos) and restaurants. I went to the ‘Belohorizonte (above the town with fantastic views) and enjoyed nice and fresh seafood.

Orosei is best visited with a car rented from the airport as that gives opportunities to visit the mountains and nearby towns however, the locality was full of interest and enabled enjoyable walks.
Restaurants were excellent particularly the traditional foods and all facilities were clean and well maintained which made for a comfortable stay in a beautiful environment. The guided trip to Gallupu was excellent.
We shall return soon to Sardinia for longer and promise that we shall spend two weeks next time and will ensure all parts of the island are visited as there is so much of interest.
Great location in Orosei for exploring both the Costa Smeralda (we recommend spiaggia Lu Impostu near Brandinchi) and the Golf of Orosei (the boat tour leaving from nearby the hotel's beach drops you off at Cala Mariolu, Luna and Sisine + you can see Cala Goloritze from the boat)
Great choice of food at the restaurant (if you like fish and seafood), though set-up could look nicer and queues can be long
Well maintained resort premises, easy access to the pool and sea
This hotel is probably one of the best properties we ever stayed at and it completely exceeded our expectations. Maria Theresa at the front desk let us check in early, gave us a choice between rooms and thoroughly explained to us parking, dining and excursions in the area. The hotel itself was beautiful, unique, and the room was very big, quiet and clean. It is also very central with convenient access to dining, parking, shopping.
The style, architecture and general ‘feel’ of the hotel was amazing. It was like stepping back in time in all the best ways possible… that along with friendly and very helpful staff, a welcoming atmosphere and tasty food. With the aid of a hire-car, local beaches are supper accessible and stunning. Great scenery not too further afield too. Amazing part of the island!!!
Monia's place was perfect for us - super spacious, all the bits and pieces you could need/want, easy parking, a short walk from the centre of Orosei, and a short drive from lots of amazing scenic spots - and Monia was mega helpful and welcoming! We really enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay at Monia's again/recommend it to anyone :)
The hotel is in an excellent location. Near the the restaurants and bars. The pictures show exactly how the bedroom is. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Definitely an hotel to consider if you plan to stay a few days in Orosei. It as everything you need. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good.
The location of the Bnb was very good, namely in the center of Orosei. Our room and bathroom was very clean. The host was really kind and very helpful. He gave us numerous tips about the city, helped with our luggage, was generous and available for any kind of questions. We would really recommend Casa Ombrina.
Great location, staff was friendly but not always there. However you can contact them via WhatsApp. The place had good features such as snacks, water, coffee all included. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place for a nice stay in Orosei.
Bless them - they waited for my super delayed flight to let me check in. Couldn't have been happier to arrive at the hotel after a nightmare day of travel. Lovely hotel and just outside the town which was perfect for me
Lovely summer house, with a very nice vibe, well equipped, private surrounding, relatively close to the Orosei town and beaches
Amazing host, very kind and respectful, great communication, very helpful and easygoing
Nice and helpful hostess, near the center and also some salty stuff at the breakfast. Every morning some nice sardinian food from the market.
Sweet little balcony. Parking is not so easy but that‘s typical in Orosei.
Perfect Location, nice quiet pool, awesome room on two levels, big terrace, all kitchen facilities we needed, central and not busy, excellent air conditioning ( a necessary thing in hot Sardinian summer) .
The rooms were spacious and the views were lovely. The had a great breakfast with American coffee. The town is really cute and it is an easy walk down to the town center.
Great location, clean, modern apartment, good kitchen facilities and cutlery/crockery, great to have washing machine, air con & have use of the hotel pool
