Wiesbaden is a lovely city, not too large, great for walks through old neighborhoods. Bring a foldable cup and stop at the various fountains to drink forever flowing mineral water. The Kochbrunnen water is hot and smelly, but good for you! Don’t miss having cake and coffee at Cafe Maldaner. It is always busy. I only stayed one night in Wiesbaden for the Business Summit where the Swedish Crown princess was the guest of honor. It seemed to be a very nice city and I would like to come back and explore it more.

I love this city! The old town is the perfect size to just wander in, and there are so many cultural and historical sights within short walking distance. Loved how accessible all of it was. Our room had everything needed for an overnight stay. The breakfast was very good. We also had to stay for several hours after the checkout doing some urgent work before departure, and the spacious lobby of the hotel was very convenient for that, so that we did not bother anybody nor were bothered ourselves.

Then when I booked there was only two days available. So each day if a room became available they held it for me so that I wouldn’t have to move around the hotel or city looking for a place to stay. The breakfast was pretty good, better than most. The staff were attentive and helpful. Even the cleaning guy was pretty good, he came through twice a day and asked me if I needed anything. It had very secure parking.
