Valerie and Ken were just amazing! We couldn't ask for better hosts! The setup here is awesome. They have 4 rooms all closely located which would make for a great family getaway, no matter what size family. Te location is off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for. We went to Castle Ward, Inch Abbey and Tollymore Forest Park during our stay and it was perfectly central. A nice, spacious, clean bathroom with a great shower was also a real treat. We woke up late for breakfast (thanks apple watch update) and Ken cooked us breakfast. Everything was perfect, even my wife's eggs, which she is very particular about! Parking was plentiful and easy as well. We will stay here again next time we are in the area!

I am a male single parent of a special needs girl aged 32yrs who needs 24/7 supervision and care. We booked and stayed at the homestead for 4 days. I never ever saw such a clean, comfortable, new look, well equipped and tranquil lodgings as this ever before. On arrival we were upgraded to a lovely self contained appartment free. We were also offered unsuppassalble cooking/kitchen facilities which afforded us the ability to produce needed healthy food easily.
The staff here were totally helpful to us yet obtrusive to us offering great privacy. There was lift access for us within the building and we were given assistance beyond the normal assistance with kindness.
Our stay was so enjoyable that my daughter called the homestead her new home and was disappointed when it came to the time for us to leave to go home.
We found the homestead to be easy accessable from the motorway and to our planned destinations.
We would surely love to come to stay at the homestead again.

The most beautiful of Georgian villages.
The most beautiful of Georgian villages. The castle visit and tour is an absolute must. Lots of good places to eat and shops for almost anything you’d want. A really lovely place to visit. Spotless streets. Beautiful flowers everywhere.
Park with a large lake makes a great walk.

A lovely Main Street to have a walk along, with good local shops and helpful staff. We had coffee in “Humble Pie” which was good value for money with an enjoyable atmosphere. We payed a visit to the “Cheshire Cat” gift shop which contained some beautiful gifts and had an extremely helpful owner.
No.33 Coach House is a wonderful and fun place to stay. Lorna has filled it with a vast collection of antiques, so it is like going back in time 80 years. The AGA range in the kitchen provides warmth to the kitchen and works great for drying clothes on the rack above it. And around the corner is the magnificent Hillsborough Castle, which should not be missed. Hillsborough is in a very central location to see many of the sights of Northern Ireland.
Loved the quiet surroundings. Perfect pastoral countryside! We had everything we needed and then some!! Our host was wonderful! Loved the skylights....the weather was perfect, so we had the skylights open and enjoyed the fresh air. We got a tour of the coming improvements which will make things even nicer. Will stay here again when in Hillsborough!
This is the perfect house / nicely renovated with a mix of old & new situated on a hill with great views. Hillsborough is a lovely town about 15 KMs away - possibly Ireland's nicest small town with great buildings, the castle, the fort, the forest & what looked like very nice restaurants & pubs - well worth a day-trip & you could fill a day.
The location is in beautiful countryside, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet - the chocolate mints on the bed were a lovely touch. The hostess Gillian was extremely nice, I was travelling by busand on foot so she kindly gave me a lift back into Hillsborough for the event I was attending the next morning.
Great location for seeing Hillsborough, lovely friendly people, comfy bed and great breakfast!
As I'm Coeliac I need to be careful with what I eat, David went beyond my expectations and not only had gluten free bread, but also museli and cereal for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return soon.
Gorgeous, cosy cottage on a pretty street. Excellent location within walking distance of everything in Hillsborough. Stayed in many places in N.I. but this was by far the best. Excellent hosts who have thought of everything with those extra touches. Will definitely be back if it's available
The strongest feature of this property is it's excellent location in Hillsborough. You are right in the middle of all the bars, restaurants, cafes, walks etc that you could want for a trip. That shouldn't take away from the niceness of the property itself but the location is incredible!
We had such a great stay, the hosts were superfriendly and gave us tea and cookies upon arrival and made a sublime breakfast in the morning. It's a beautiful area on the countryside with the quaint town of Hillsborough only a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommend this stay.
The room is really nice and the location is excellent, just a short walk to pretty much everywhere in Royal Hillsborough. The staff is super nice. I left my charger there and they carefully kept until I came back to pick it up. 5 stars service and highly recommended!
A very tidy clean cosy little cottage close to everything in Hillsborough. Beautifully presented.
Very comfy bed
Bells from church stop at 7pm amd are off until 7am so sleeping with window open is fine.
