Right across from the beach. While not in the town proper, it's at the beginning of a nice beach neighborhood. Very clean and surprisingly comfortable

Everything was perfect, we felt like home. We explored Sierra Nevada mountains from here. It is a romantic destination. The staff was great with us, diner amazing and the entire vibe was perfect for us. We'll return for sure.

The location is perfect. Eating breakfast while looking at the sea was splendid!
Hotel and room exactly as described online. Very friendly and helpful front desk and staff. We really liked the local restaurants; Katena, Juan Garcia for the freshest seafood and Morelli for pizza and pasta. Some nice places in the town of Motril also where we went for lunch. Can walk or bus into town (about 3-4 km) We traveled to Granada for day trip via bus from the Motril bus station very easy.
We booked for six days but ended up staying 5 days. Hotel honored our request to check out early when we gave them 48-hour notice which we really appreciated.

Motril is not a tourist destination. The town has only two hotels. Elba one of them. If you just passing Motril and you need to spend 1-2 nights- this hotel is right for you. Breakfast was great, but dinner- sorry 😣.

The hotel is located on the beach strip quite a distance from the actual town of Motril. In December the area was totally deserted except for the hotel bar/restaurant. Good hotel, nice room, renovated bathroom, terrace, Satélite TV, AC/heating, very dog friendly (for €10 more), included breakfast was coffee, toast, fresh orange juice.

Motril isn't an attractive place, very busy and the pavements and exteriors of places can be very dirty. Parking was horrendous. The cafes and bars do however provide substantial free tapas when ordering drinks and the people we came across were always friendly. We wouldn't return to Motril as there wasn't anything to make us want to do so.

Hotel in general is a busy one.
Hotel in general is a busy one. Its clean and staff friendly. The only fault we had was WiFi not working or connecting till 5am we wasnt the only ones. Food was nice but no hot drinks served in evening meal you have to go to cafe to get it yet thr machine for coffee is available for breakfast.
Remember to take swimming hats if you wish to use the indoor pool. They can be brought for 2.50 each from reception.
Location (quiet, walking distance to beach and small shop, restaurants/bars, 50 min drive to Granada), balcony and its furniture, view from balcony (golf course, ocean, mountains), size of apartment, spotleessly clean, looks new, fresh and bright, warm welcome by staff, flexible in terms of late check-in (as I inadvertently overlooked the check-in constraints). Great stay, would gladly come back & recommend!
Very nice and comfy 4* hotel carefully preserving chick decor from '50s-'60s but looking clean and fresh and modern whenever you need it. Located in a beach suburb of Motril away from huge tourist crowds of more popular locations like Nerja, however the beach is just HUGE in this area, albeit not too crowded and fewer services like bars and restaurants are available.
A charming boutique hotel. The owner is an artist and art lover, so the reception area is more like a gallery than a hotel, with some reproductions (Sorolla etc) and lots of original pieces. There is a lively bar downstairs and it is a ten-minute walk to the bars and restaurants of downtown. Exceptional value.

Hotel Estrella del Mar was amazing. The restaurant had great food and a lively atmosphere. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. I loved that the staff worked at the restaurant, did different jobs in the hotel making one feel like part of a family.
It was a great trip!
The hotel is economical, but very comfortable.
The location is opposite the bus station, and a 15-minute walk to the sea.
The staff is very friendly and the bar is great. There is also an elevator and convenient ramps, which was an advantage for me.
It's the very first hotel we visited in this area with direct access to the sea. Plus it has amazingly green territory, warm pools and beautiful surroundings. The food quality is a bit below the rest, however we had never left hangry
The kindness of the staff and the dedication of the animation team (both the hotels' and Club Eldorador's). The design of the hotel was beautiful. They gave us a very ample and quiet room. All our needs were fulfilled with a smile.
Very good location for shops and Restaurants. On road parking.Right near the sea, lots of places to walk.Room very clean.Miguel was very helpful and accommodating.Good breakfast room with microwave and coffee machine
The setting, style of the hotel and gardens were lovely. It felt like you were walking into a grand house that had not changed in decades. There were many photos and mementos from a bygone era.
I stay here with some regularity, because I have exams for a distance university who has its exam center in Motril. I like the location and comfort. The hostal staff is normally very kind
everything was perfect, better than expected. Large apartment with all amenities needed. Huge terrace. Real good value for money. A no brainer if you're staying around playa Granada.
This hotel is super comfortable. We rest and feel very happy with the room. Also, the breakfast was very generous and diverse and that was great 🥰 We fully recommend this place
