What went well?
Everything! The staff in hotel was super friendly, yet proffesional, even helping us to find a restaurant for my Mum's birthday celebration. This is a boutique style hotel and it has you wish for - cleanliness, friendlieness of staff and a great location. Can only recommend.
Hotel Su Barchile is half a mile from the stunning Sardinian coast, in picturesque Orosei. Newly renovated, the hotel offers modern accommodations and a wonderful restaurant.

The room was super clean, and the bed was also comfortable. The location is great, only 5 minutes driving from the marina and 15 minutes away from beaches such as Cala Liberotto and Cala Ginepri. Friendly stuff!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant, and also enjoyed the breakfast offerings. We didn't get a chance to explore the town much, but it was the perfect place for us to stay.
Hotel Maria Rosaria is a charming hotel complex with its own gardens and swimming pool, located 110 yards from Orosei’s historic quarter. Stunning beaches are a short drive away.

The beach was long and plentiful.
The beach was long and plentiful. A fine shingle with a gentle slope into the sea. It was almost empty when we were there in peak season. The parking was free. Unfortunately, It was very windy when we were there so all boat trips were cancelled. Which was a shame because the coastline is best viewed from the sea. However the gentle slope of the beach sheltered us enough from the wind for a relaxing sunbathe. The restaurants were busy. So do some research and plan ahead and book in the morning for the night otherwise you might be walking around for a while queuing and waiting whilst you are hungry.

More rugged than the North, but with the most beautiful beaches and nature in the area. If I return to Sardinia I will spend all my time in the area of Orosei. The city itself is small but have nice restaurants.

Pretty village. Very pleasant to live in. Good traders. Interesting historical center to travel. Very close to the mountain and the sea. On the other hand, park outside on the car parks. Very complicated in the center but being very small it is easy to do on foo

Orosei has quite some things to offer.
Orosei has quite some things to offer. The marina with the nice, sandy beaches, the beach bars and nice hotels (Anticos Palathos) and restaurants. I went to the ‘Belohorizonte (above the town with fantastic views) and enjoyed nice and fresh seafood.

Orosei is best visited with a car rented from the airport as that gives opportunities to visit the mountains and nearby towns however, the locality was full of interest and enabled enjoyable walks.
Restaurants were excellent particularly the traditional foods and all facilities were clean and well maintained which made for a comfortable stay in a beautiful environment. The guided trip to Gallupu was excellent.
We shall return soon to Sardinia for longer and promise that we shall spend two weeks next time and will ensure all parts of the island are visited as there is so much of interest.
We stayed here on our honeymoon and Marco went out of his way to make it a wonderful stay - with lots of little nice touches. Marco was friendly, helpful and gave us lots of tips on places to visit, and restaurants to eat at. The room was nice and we had use of a balcony which was great in the hot weather. Breakfast was excellent with lots of homemade Sardinian treats. Marco spent time explaining each of the breakfast specialities/fruits and generally made our stay a really lovely one. Would definitely recommend Villa Bianca.
Great location in Orosei for exploring both the Costa Smeralda (we recommend spiaggia Lu Impostu near Brandinchi) and the Golf of Orosei (the boat tour leaving from nearby the hotel's beach drops you off at Cala Mariolu, Luna and Sisine + you can see Cala Goloritze from the boat)
Great choice of food at the restaurant (if you like fish and seafood), though set-up could look nicer and queues can be long
Well maintained resort premises, easy access to the pool and sea
Anna was so nice, she helped us a lot with recomendations and all we needed. Breakfest was exceptional!!!
The room was super clean, comfortable and quite. Orosei is a beautiful city and not too much touristic. Anna's place is very well located, you can reach the city center and all the restaurants with just 5 min walk. We traveled the Gulf of Orosei by car and came back to Orosei in the evenings. It was perfect! Can't recommend enough!
This hotel is probably one of the best properties we ever stayed at and it completely exceeded our expectations. Maria Theresa at the front desk let us check in early, gave us a choice between rooms and thoroughly explained to us parking, dining and excursions in the area. The hotel itself was beautiful, unique, and the room was very big, quiet and clean. It is also very central with convenient access to dining, parking, shopping.
Monia's place was perfect for us - super spacious, all the bits and pieces you could need/want, easy parking, a short walk from the centre of Orosei, and a short drive from lots of amazing scenic spots - and Monia was mega helpful and welcoming! We really enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay at Monia's again/recommend it to anyone :)
The beautiful small houses in a picturesque garden with sunbeds and a big swimming pool. Very friendly stuff, delicious breakfast in a wonderful courtyard. It's a quiet place near Orosei (good restaurants, market, nice old center), the beaches are just a 10 minutes drive away..
the ancient atmosphera and the details, all put with a sense. All sardinian carpet, pottery and other stuff.
You will exerience the Middleage in Sardinia with all cons. the breakfast is almost all home made pies and marmelades..lovely! the staff is very friendly
1. The two lovely and warm gentlemen who serve lunch and dinner at the restaurant are amazing :)
2. Easy street parking nearby the hotel
3. The availability of a restaurant downstairs
4. Modern and clean rooms
5. Fast wifi
Bless them - they waited for my super delayed flight to let me check in. Couldn't have been happier to arrive at the hotel after a nightmare day of travel. Lovely hotel and just outside the town which was perfect for me
the room and the amenities, cosy and Sardinian style art, Ideal location, ease of parking close by, comfortable bed and shower. arrangement to hang clothes outside the window. lot of good restaurants and bars nearby.
Lovely summer house, with a very nice vibe, well equipped, private surrounding, relatively close to the Orosei town and beaches
Amazing host, very kind and respectful, great communication, very helpful and easygoing
The rooms were spacious and the views were lovely. The had a great breakfast with American coffee. The town is really cute and it is an easy walk down to the town center.
Great location, clean, modern apartment, good kitchen facilities and cutlery/crockery, great to have washing machine, air con & have use of the hotel pool
