We loved the history of this city. The people are friendly. We enjoyed shopping and eating in a small local diner on the shopping street. We toured the interior of the historic church. The caretaker inside was very friendly and told us a lot of history of the Church. I would have enjoyed another day or so in this city.

Owners were very friendly and offered me a bicycle for free, for I travelled on foot. On the check-out day I was offered to have a lift downtown. In general it was just great experience! It is very well restored, and has all the modern-day amenity you can expect in a great hotel. The owner was very helpful and kind. Very nice guest kitchen with all you need for cooking a nice meal. It’s in walking distance of the historic center of Kalundborg.
