Nice cozy place by the lake. It happened to be a stormy time when we were there, so we were unable to go hiking as planned in the great surroundings. If we are in the area again, we would stay here.

Credit card reader out of order. A female staff member is extremely rude and unsympathetic re my situation; and she interrupted the conversation between the male clerk and I. When I asked her to step out of the conversation, I was told to " get out of my office . . " Though I stood in the public Lobby.
Very bad experience for an 85 year old African American lady that I am. Felt racist . . .

Enjoyed staying directly on Lake Michigan in a small community (Ernie is in a nursing home according to the ladies at the coffee shop, sorry I was eavesdropping). Nice view of Lake Erie. Motel is just down from Marblehead Lighthouse. We ate at Freighters Lounge. Food was AWESOME! Also visited the Rocky Point Winery. Both are near Lake Pointe Motel where we stayed. Not far at all from where you can pick up ferry lines to head to Put-in-Bay, Kelly and Middle Bass Islands. So many nice looking places to stop, but we just didn't have time.

Beautiful rocky beaches — fresh air and breezy — sailboats, speedboats and more — a beautiful scene! Our hostess and accommodations were great! I highly recommend Lake Point Motel and Marblehead, Ohio for a relaxing destination. You are just a ferry ride away from Kelly’s Island — a fun place to bike or golf cart and explore!

We ate at the Hidden Beach bar - was my grandson's 14th birthday - staff excellent - had a great time!!!! Yes, getting around Marblehead is great!! Can take the ferry to Kelley's Island out of Marblehead - Kelley's is lovely! Rent a golf cart!!!! Nothing to avoid!!!!! Thank you Booking for making my reservations for Surf Motel so easy!!!! Marblehead has a quaintness about it. People are friendly and the views of Kelly's Island and Cedar Point are wonderful. Had a nice dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse named Nagoya. Got up and had coffee on the beach overlooking Lake Erie which gives the impression of the ocean. Clean air nice breezes and plenty of things to do in the area. Port Clinton, Catawba Island, Put in Bay, an African Safari, Cedar Point with more roller coaster than anyone could want.JoanUnited States of America

Although I did not meet staff I had 2 phone conversations with her and she was friendly and helpful. I left my Yeti cup in the room and she called to tell me. Felt like I was talking to a good friend. I’m sorry I don’t know her name. My husband and I look forward to returning to the area and would definitely stay there again.

Looks like you can rent jet skis on the lake and there’s a small beach right next to the dock. It’s a quiet community and I loved everything about it.
