Excellent location, friendly staff.

Siena is "Must-stay small cultural city". Hotel Minerva's valcony view, rooms ,the area,breakfast...everything was amazingly fantastic!‼︎ Hotel lobby has plenty of space,and everywhere at this hotel has beautiful fragrance of flowers...‼︎ We had the best experience here in this trip spending time at this valcony surrounded by fragrance of seasonal flowers and gazing the fantastic view. But, more than that, I felt the most wonderful thing at this hotel is "people" serviceing for us there. They were always very relaxed and charming and fun people! So we enjoyed talking with them a lot! Grazie mille for everything, ARIGATO from Japan! We will never forget this hotel Minerva, and beautiful city Siena.

Excellent location in old city, just a few minutes to Duomo and an easy walk to the Campo. Good spread of breads, cheeses, hams, egg, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, juices and hot drinks for breakfast. Family room was large and comfortable with dividers for some privacy. The hotel arranged Leonardo Car Valet which was problem-free.

Typically Italian. Lovely pool area which was a plus.

The room was large, clean, warm and had a bath that was wonderful after a long day walking in the rain. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. A pool straight outside of my room.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The breakfast was as good as most hotels, offering a variety of foods and beverages. It is an older hotel but very clean, updated furnishings and nice sheets and towels

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful stay in Siena! We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Athena and would happily come back. What impressed us most was the staff. Everyone we met—from the front desk and the restaurant team to the doormen—was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional. Robert in the restaurant gave very good service. Their excellent work made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices, and the panoramic terrace was absolutely beautiful. We had dinner there as well and enjoyed both the food and the stunning views over Siena. Another big advantage is the parking. Free parking with valet service is such a luxury in a historic city like Siena, making our road trip completely stress-free. The hotel’s location is also excellent. It’s just a pleasant 10–15 minute walk to the historic center, close enough for easy sightseeing but quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit to Siena so memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Athena to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Great location, friendly helpful staff & lovely room

The staff were so incredibly approachable, fun and hospitable. A big shout out to Hatem at the front desk for being so helpful during our stay too. The spa facilities were great and even though it was very stormy and rainy, it actually made the experience better as we were able to be in the pool in the rain watching the sky and then dip into the sauna ❤️ Reasonably easy to get to from Siena train station by taxi. Dinner was nice, the antipasti being the best! 🧀

The hotel is very clean, the room is spacious and clean, the bathroom is modernly furnished. The location was convenient for me, there was a bus stop right across the street. To my surprise, they served cappuccino and latte in the morning, there was also a light snack, which was a bonus to the accommodation. The staff was very polite and kind.

Hotel perfectly located if you are arriving/leaving by bus and an easy walk to everything. I had booked a balcony room and was delighted to be upgraded to a view across to the Duomo. Spectacular view day and night from the room. The staff were incredibly friendly.

Beautiful and peaceful property surrounded by nature. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The amenities are excellent and create a truly relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Truly memorable stay in XIV century palazzo which combines antique decor and modern comfort. Our room was spacious, comfortable, had stunning view and spacious bathroom with the daylight. Joanna, receptionist, greeted us with red Tuscan wine and gave us excellent recommendations about local restaurants. We really enjoyed our beautiful stay in stunning Siena and recommend everyone Palazzo Borghesi.

The facilities were very good. The pool was great to cool off in. The restaurant offered a good variety of quality food to choose from. Buffet breakfast was great. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and accommodating. Having the gym to use was a bonus. The renovations have been very tastefully done. It was a little bit out from the Old Town but we could easily catch the S06 bus from the end of the street or walk 30 minutes to get to the Old Town. We had the added bonus of arriving on the day of the Il Palio - the running of the horses. This ancient tradition was an amazing event to experience. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Ermellina.

Everything was perfect. The host Cristina is a wonderful person, the location was great with a beautiful view. We will come back, for sure!

The property is just perfect - the photos online do not do it justice - it’s small but perfectly formed with only a few steps to access. The owners have prepared a really comprehensive visitor guide, that was invaluable. It’s so close to Piazza Del Campo that we were always able to pop in throughout the day if we needed to drop stuff off etc. we stayed 2 nights and on both days we went back to the apartment during the day to relax as it was so cosy! Thank you Claudio and Claudia for a wonderful stay - we would highly recommend.

This is incredibly well positioned to look out over the square. The accommodation is set up for 6 (though you need to go through one bedroom to access the last bedroom)and is very comfortable.

The view from the apartment was absolutely amazing; there's nothing better than grabbing a fresh cornettos from the great café on the ground floor of the historic building and enjoying it on the balcony overlooking the most beautiful square in Italy. Luisa was an amazing host, giving us perfect tips for sightseeing and the surroundings, including parking. I definitely recommend spending a few nights there.

The best location in Sienna!!!
