What a find! Minutes from the channel tunnel and an easy drive to Hythe for all amenities. We loved the room and the pretty gardens. We were able to sit outside and eat our picnic tea in the sunshine. The bed was great and we slept well. Good takeaway breakfast.

Absolutely incredible. One of the most amazing places we have stayed all around the world. The welcome from Steve was wonderful and uniquely personal. The castle, the grounds, gardens. The staff were all world class. The tour. A credit to themselves and the UK.

The Annex room with private bathroom was very good. The description of having to climb 40 stairs to the annex rooms is misleading. It was not a straight up 40 Steps but definitely not for those traveling with suitcases. Loved the closeness to the cathedral which allowed free unlimited walking in the cathedral and on the grounds all day. Breakfast was sit down by time skits and offered a fabulous huge choice. The rooms bathroom was big and the room had a large smart tv. Internet signal was strong. Definitely the place to stay if you’re a pilgrim starting the Via Francigena because you feel your right in the centre of this beautiful religious sanctuary.

Very convenient for Eurotunnel, literally 5 minutes away, excellent hosts, who left little touches such as milk, bread and coffee for breakfast.

Just a 10-minute walk from Walpole Bay Beach and 0.7 miles from Dreamland Margate, Golspie House, Margate features accommodations in Margate, with a garden.

The place was clean, comfortable, and unique. I slept so well here. Fee was so welcoming and accommodating, and Pickle was the sweetest! I really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and to the town center. Don't pass up the chance to stay here. I hope to come back in the future.

The Patch is an absolutely beautiful B&B and the owners are so lovely and friendly. The whole experience from the moment we arrived to the minute we left was nothing short of exceptional. We booked the largest room which was incredibly spacious with a gorgeous en-suite and comfy bed. Careful thought was put to all the amenities in the room (even extra pillows, slippers and bathrobes) which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxed. There’s ample parking and we were able to easily come and go as we pleased. Evelyn and her husband are absolutely lovely and Evelyn’s cooked breakfast is 10/10 (my husband couldn’t wait for his full English every morning). They definitely added warmth and a home like feel to our trip. We absolutely loved our stay at The Patch and look forward to staying again soon! Accomadation was excellent, it had everything we needed, parking on the driveway, sue and Amanda were approachable if we needed anything.We will definitely book again.
