The aparthotel is located 10 min walk from the beach. A bit steep, but easily doable. Our apartment was fantastic. Specious with all the possible Japanese mod coms. There was at least 5 heating setting at the bathroom including one for drying clothes. And the washing machine and a dishwasher were there too. Kitchen fully equipped. Washing and beauty products provided in excess. Basically you could live there as in your own home. Staff was very friendly. They serve breakfast ( extra charge) that looked very nice, but we were jet lagged so never tried them.

At the accommodation all rooms have a desk and a TV. Excellent stay at the hotel. Very convenient location right next to station for buses and trains to get to Wakayama station if needed. Also lots of food options in next building if needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were quite big and clean. I had requested a quiet room which was good and had a good sleep during my stay.

This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property. Both the entire village and the accommodation are exceptional. The hotel's onsens are very cool, in the morning you can try rice porridge cooked with thermal water. The hotel has its own small convenience store for hikers. After a long day of hiking (25 km), sitting in the onsen there is an indescribable pleasure!

Way better than Comfort Inns in Canada. Check-in and check-out was smooth, breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and well laid out.
