Beautiful, peaceful, clean cabin. We loved it. My 77 year old mother and I slept well here, hiked the trails and enjoyed getting away from the noisy beaches. Very kind and helpful hosts, they sent their wonderful taxi driver Antonio to pick us up from Mazunte which was a big help. I highly recommend using Antonio for your transport needs. Also, be sure to bring your own food! There are NOT 2 restaurants as the booking.com indicates, that is an error in the system. But there is a fridge and cooktop so it's easy to cook there.

Spacious room, very clean & fresh. Everything worked well and the AC felt wonderful. Peaceful residential neighborhood. Short walk to the ADO station and all the shops & restaurants downtown. I would stay here again.

1. Booking.com process took me 2 minutes. I've been your sister company, Priceline, client for over 23 years. There were some occasional issues. My first try with you was amazing. Everything went well!! Check in staff was professional and friendly. They even asked if we needed a fridge. They brought it to our room within 20 minutes. Very clean facility. Maid service great, and breakfast server and cooks just fine. Pool area was spotless. Location was good...just 3 blocks from town square. I highly recommend Arenas Del Pacifico.

We loved Huatulco.
We loved Huatulco. We did some hikes to pristine beaches with aquamarine water and abundant coral, and loved looking at colorful fish, butterflies, birds (we saw so many parrots!!) and enormous mango and tamarind trees, fields of papaya growing, seeing pineapples growing. We mostly hiked-walked, sat in the water looking at fish - with or without snorkels - and enjoyed meeting people who were so kind, welcoming and generous.

Santa Cruz has a laid back feel to it.
Santa Cruz has a laid back feel to it. There are some talented musicians and singers in the placita near Cafe Huatulco.
Great coffee at Casa del Cafe and good breakfasts at Nico's Express Cafe.
Santa Cruz Beach is relaxing and great for pelican and manta ray watching.

The property is located in a very isolated area, approximately 2 miles off-road (you will definitely need a car to get there). There is a beautiful beach 300 yards down from the property; however, it is not swimmable.
The bedrooms lack air-conditioning and glass windows. They are made of wood with meshed grids, allowing you to hear everything at night: waves that sound like thunder, roosters, and barking dogs.
The view is spectacular, and the pool is very nice. However, the house clearly needs refurbishment—particularly the kitchen, utensils, chairs, pillows, and perhaps a simple small speaker for music.
This is a romantic destination for a couple seeking adventure and relaxation—except for the fact that we encountered two tarantulas (one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen), which could be unsettling for some guests.

It is a place that we had never visited before. We like the closeness to shopping and restraunts as 2 of us had mobility issues. People were very friendly. Taxi service available close by. Entertainment in the park 2 blocks away. Very clean city.

Make sure you find out which beaches are swimable before you go, and if you go snorkling go with a guide. The currents can be strong - and some dangerous- so a guide will help avoid that and provide support. Public bathrooms have no toilet seats, sometimes there is no toilet paper, and sometimes the only way to flush is with water. The people are friendly and helpful and wonderful. Most do not speak English but you’ll make friends everywhere you go. The seafood is outrageously good. Eat as much seafood as you can. I didn’t go into town so I can’t speak to that. I loved it.
