This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

Dino’s place was perfect for us. Dino was an amazing host! Very friendly and responsive. Everything in the apartment felt clean and fresh. It was really well- equipped. Everything we needed was there to cook, bbq etc. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. A big reason we chose this place was that it is animal- friendly. The house is directly on the river, so our water-focussed dog was in heaven. The scent of wild jasmine on the breeze was wonderful. Even though a somewhat busy street runs behind the house, the rock wall behind the home meant we hardly noticed sounds of traffic. A very peaceful place. The street has no pedestrian side walks, making it more challenging to walk to nearby places, but because we had a car, nearby attractions and hiking paths were easily accessible. We loved our stay! Right in the city center with a super affordable price. Nicely decorated building. We had the room with the private bathroom outside. They are simple and very clean. There’s a little balcony too. Helpful staff.

The location was good, close to the main square. (Note that there are two separate properties advertised in this listing. The address given to you on Booking when you book is not the address of the apartment nor of the shop where you check in.) When I requested that someone come over and close the bathroom window for me (you have to climb up to do so and I was afraid of falling) because a construction worker was standing next to it they came over quickly. The Ticino pass giving you free public transportation.

It was the best stay in my trip to Switzerland, I will definitely come back here, very close to the lake and to main places, I really enjoyed the stay, the room was clean and cozy.
