Amazing location, cozy accomodation, welcoming and smiling hosts, great value for money, super clean interiors, sumptuous breakfast, at a walking distance from all amenities and next to the fantastic Shanklin cliff - what else can you ask for ! The ambience at the bar and restaurants were great. Would love to visit again .

Quiet, great location, good breakfast, clean and tidy

The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. This is a family run hotel, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the decor was excellent condition and very attractive.

I enjoyed the full breakfast in the conservatory with views out to sea. Peaceful setting. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and were able to answer any questions I had, such as directions to go places, where I could eat, etc. My room and ensuite bathroom were very clean.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast, great location. Not to mention the pet seagulls.

It was perfect, they had all the possible things needed for a get away holiday. The tv had some issues and they came to replace it within an hour of complaining , location is perfect as well, literally 2 minutes walk from the beach and Shanklin Chine

The staff are very gentle and happy to help! They even offer a cream tea on arrival that was really nice! The location is nice and it was easy to go from Shankling train station and it was very easy to go to the beach using the cliff lift. The building is from Victorian age but it was clean and had every essential: comfortable bed, good shower, warm swimming pool, some games and a bar. The breakfast was a traditional English served warm at your table. It was a good value for money.

Our apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The owners, who live on the site, were friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect. It's walking distance from the beach and the old village, with shops, a cafe and pub/restaurants close by. We are keen to return.

Good value for money.Excellent location, close to the beach ,Shanklin Chine and Old Village, nearby restaurants and stores. Was giving Vintage wibes.Had all basic facilities. A garden with beach views and breakfast available.Ideal for short stays.

It was very spacious with beautiful sea views. We enjoyed a well equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator and a nice, large dining table. I traveled with 3 other ladies and it was great to spread out. Some beds were firm, and some soft, and there were plenty of pillows and towels. Loved having bedroom TVs to watch in the evenings. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, and it was very good. Parking is tight, as it is everywhere but we always were able to find a spot! Salma was wonderful about booking our ferry tickets at a reduced price. They charge a service fee for that, but overall we still saved a lot. Loved the Isle of Wight and Shanklin!

Clean rooms, friendly staff and good value. Well placed for walking out to pubs or restaurants and easy access to seafront. Breakfast was excellent!

Very friendly staff. We had a room with a sea view so we could hear the sea at night which was lovely. The breakfast was fantastic with vegan options.

Beautiful house, lots of quirky features, and I had a lovely spacious ensuite single room. My hostess is very friendly and helpful, she knows how to make her guests feel at home. There's a conservatory for guests to use, if they wish, and a beautiful garden. There's also a guest lounge, with games. Breakfast is a communal affair, on long tables, which gives you a chance to get to know other guests...I really enjoyed my two breakfasts & lingered longer than I would have, otherwise. The Knight's Rest is an easy ten minute walk from the station, and is very close to the beach, and to Shanklin Chine and the old village. It's a great place to stay.

Good location everything is available within walkable distance excellent Caravan and amenities, very helpful owners who respond to queries immediately, good facilities within the holiday park. Good value for money. The welcome pack is really helpful.

Breakfast was excellent . The view of the channel at Breakfast was amazing.

The hosts were great and the breakfast was amazing. We got a room with a sea view as requested and it was nice and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay there and we'll definitely be back for more.

Everything was great.olde worlde but full of charm. Staff amazing sorry to embarrass you Tom but such great hospitality. Room had a lovely sea view.room 25. Terrace and grounds great. We enjoyed the outdoor pool as very hot and sunny. Ate dinner one night. Yes the choice a but limited but the price and quality more than made up for that. Will definitely return.

We recently spent three wonderful nights at Haven Hall. Upon our arrival we were personally greeted by proprietor David Barratt who stated “Welcome to Haven Hall, my home.” He gave us a tour of the house and the magnificent grounds that overlook the Channel. David, and his lovely wife, Arielle, live in the house, manage everything, and are accessible 24/7 for what ever question or need that may arise. Their attention to detail is superb, which is evident everywhere you look. They are engaging to chat with should you so desire and have good suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was wonderful out on the terrace overlooking the Channel. Their staff couldn’t do enough for us. They have an electric charging station which was a nice touch. The pool area, which we enjoyed, is secluded and inviting. The water is heated. There are changing rooms and a sauna. A grass tennis court. I highly recommend Haven Hall and look forward to a return.
