Caravan was lovely and clean, starter pack had everything we needed. Owner was so nice and payed close attention to detail, such as providing free wifi and camping chairs.

The hotel location was right at the beach with a wonderful walking path. It had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very attentive. The room was clean & well lit. The restaurant had many options on the menu, and the food was delicious. The breakfast was awesome.

Proximity to the beach and local attractions. Sea views and the sounds of the wind tinkling through the boat masts at night. Decent size shower room including soaps and good quality towels. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets and pillows that were neither too soggy or too firm. Thoughtful inclusion of a couple of deck chairs. Like the mini fridge too, very handy.

The host was very friendly and our room was very spacious and clean.one big advantage was that we were able to check inn at 12.00 which was very convenient for us.

The property was fully equipped for all our needs, so spacious and comfortable, the location was perfect and we didn’t want to come home. Miranda & Paul, left lots of information for us with regard to the site, entertainment and facilities etc. it’s a stones throw from the sea, shops, amusements, pubs, market, food and much more. We loved it that much we’re hoping to rebook asap.

Elmwood Lodge is located in Kent, just 5 miles from University of Kent and 6.3 miles from Canterbury West Train Station.

The Communication and helpfulness provided by Melanie from day one was second to none. The lodge was spotless and with the many extras provided took the enjoyment of the stay to a higher level. 10 minutes walk at most to the seafront at Tankerton and various pubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive.
