The new building next to the main one is much better in terms of quality, bedding and coming with a private bathroom. Breakfast is included pretty decent considering such a remote area, The price is very attractive although its located 2 miles off Hwy 54., no big deal. Staff is friendly.

The Staff is very friendly, helpful. The location of the hotel is unique, in fact it is located alone in the middle of a grassland, 300 m far from the ocean. There is no light pollution, ideal place for Polar Light hunters -even we were not lucky as, both of the evenings the sky was cloudy, at least we were able to sleep all night. From culinary point of view it was the best kitchen we met in Iceland. Local and rural foods were served both for breakfast and for dinner. Orgy of tastes, really.

Staff was very friendly and always available to answer questions. Instructions to access the property were clear. Propertie is just like in the pictures, and it's very clean. Easy to find, plenty of room for our group of 4. It was so nice to have a living room to sit in. We walked around the dock and checked out the fishing boats. Easy access in and out of town.
