I loved everything about the stay. The location was great, the room and facilities were exquisite, and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect and we loved every minute of it.

We loved the bucolic place where the Ermida is located. Also, the delicious and traditional food dinners served on the patio with Ermida's own wine! In addition, we were unaware that we needed to provide our own breakfast in our rented unit. So thank you to the administration for making an exception and allowing us to have an excellent breakfast all three days we stayed there! The short walk to the train station and the river beach was a plus. Moreover, the whole history of the Ermida is impressive! We also walked to the waterfall. We didn't dive in because the water was pretty cold. Finally, having the Ermida as our sleeping spot after exploring some areas of the Douro Valley was an excellent idea. Driving to places in the Douro Valley was wonderful! I would definitely go back to enjoy more!

Spacious, peaceful, great amenities, beautiful private paradise getaway. Perfect for families. Loved the river, table off the kitchen with view.close to city center - 5 min drive away. Lots of greenery. Great value for what you get. My family enjoyed it and would return again.
