This was the best place we stayed during our road trip in Scotland (out of seven different hotels). Our room was super spacious and cozy, beautifully decorated in a modern style — everything felt brand new. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Service at both reception and breakfast was flawless: warm, friendly, and always with a smile. Breakfast itself was fantastic, with a wide variety of freshly cooked, delicious options. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The location is perfect near by the train station, the type of room selected is enough for a family, the place is very quite and nice, there is play ground for the kids inside & outside with a lot of option. The owner of the place is very hospitable.

Wonderful hosts: a couple who were very responsive and understanding, addressed and fixed any room issues immediately, were cognizant of our time and needs, served delicious breakfast, gave great travel advice on Loch Lomond and overall Scotland itineraries, and great conversation (my mom and I learned a lot about Scotland), checked in with us to see if we arrived at our next destination House and room: clean, warm, anything you could need Parking: plenty in front of the food store across the street or in the parking lot behind it Guests: other families and young travelers I booked this homestay with my older mom, and we both agreed this was everything you could want in a homestay!

We were just down for one evening as we were doing the Glasgow Kiltwalk early the next day. Our host Chloe was there on arrival to explain the room and if we needed anything else. We were even allowed to go back in the next day and have a shower and change after our Kiltwalk before driving home too, which was above and beyond so very much appreciated.

Great location, amazing breakfast, comfy room- couldn’t have asked for more! This was our first night along the west highland way, and it was absolutely perfect.

Everything was lovely. The warm welcome and drinks in the conservatory on arrival were very much appreciated. The property had been well thought out, very clean with comfortable rooms and a beautiful garden. Anne and John were super hosts and gave great advice with regards the area and places to go. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We found a super local tapas bar for our evening meals with great food and friendly staff. Loved our stay.
