20-30 minute drive from the Lake District and close to Scotland. We are so Glad that we Booked their place. They are a Warm and lovely Couple that made us feel so welcomed. Their place is Spacious, well decorated, comfortable, cosy, clean and private, with private entrance and parking as well. The White House is well located in a small village, right in front of a lovely chapel. We took their recommendation to eat at a place nearby (3 - 5 min drive) called 'Treat Point' and we had a delicious dinner meal made by a lovely and friendly owner. We had a beautiful stay, highly recommend The White House and would stay again.

Wonderful little B&B, very close to Carlisle station. The host, Leanne, was very welcoming and even accommodated my early departure with a bacon butty to go! The bed was very comfortable and the room was well equipped. Definitely recommend, great value for the price.
