Started with the staff, we got a call the afternoon of our stay as we were arriving several hours after the estimate to in quire about our dinner plans. we would be arriving after the kitchen closed, so the owner offered to have a couple of salads made for us. The hotel has the classic British pub-hotel charm, but the room had a nice modern feel to it with a wonderful bathroom. air conditioning would’ve been nice, but the fan did the job. Great staff, selection of beverages and breakfast was fabulous.

We had a rental car with SatNav/GPS so no issues. The area is a bit remote and as the local pub had a fire it was shut while we were visiting so a car was necessary in order to get around just to eat dinner. The breakfast was excellent as was our hosts and we had great conversation. Very enjoyable.

The property was spotless lovely decor with lovely personal touches. Comfy beds. Lovely rooms. The host Kathleen is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. She was very welcoming. The property is in a great location and has parking aswell
